it was ok... I had been there for dinner before when it first opened. I remember it being a much more vibrant and a fun experience. We went for brunch this time after seeing it on the Phantom over and over. I have to say I satisfied my curiosity and will most likely not make it back anytime soon.
We were greeted, however the rest of the expirence was a mess, literally! When we went upstairs to be seated, the person who was seating us, had no clue where to seat us despite the place being half empty. Aftet being seated, we went up to the food bar to select our dinner. The raw meats and vegetables area was a mess! We simply continued our selections in hopes an employee would notice mess. We went on to our sauce selection which also was a mess. We went on to the rice section only to find an empty pot. NO RICE... I was sh... read more
It was overly busy: there were 2 layers of people at the grill, lines for food, food options were constantly empty, and you couldn't hear anything. Oh, and my wallet was stolen; a manager called to tell me they found it in the men's room. Glad I booked with Open Table so they had my cell number.
Do not go to this place if you are over 40. It is a zoo. Not a place to have an enjoyable dining experience. We walked out. The noise level was so high you couldn't hear yourself think. They definitely overbook even though we had a reservation. Looked like a dorm cafeteria with everyone hanging around with a tray to get their food. Here's a great idea. Go directly across the street to the restaurant Tico. Food is great and atmosphere wonderful.
It was an interesting concept, which is why we tried it. Our waiter was lovely, but the food, overall, was really sketchy. Cool grill, but we were not impressed. It is fun for adventurous kids, but we had one who was overwhelmed. Not recommended and we will not go back.
We came to Fire & Ice with a larger party because they tend to be good about splitting bills and it's a set price for food which is always easier. We were informed upon arrival that they were not allowed to split checks, not even into two with food and drinks on separate checks. Our original server (younger boy, don't remember his name) came over and explained how everything worked and then left to get our table waters before coming back to take our actual drink orders, only he never came back. We spent 15 minutes looking ar... read more
Went on a Saturday for my niece's birthday. It was at least 80 degrees upstairs which made everything uncomfortable, including eating. My first trip I got shrimp mushrooms Alfredo and pasta. The person next to me had peas which ended up in my meal. The dishwasher very bland even after adding cloves of garlic. Returned for a burger since I only had a couple bites of pasta before I was turned off. Burger was better but not worth $20. Party of six and nobody was happy. Paid by card and the receipt for me to sign came back but n... read more
Sucks. Go to Burger King. Way better.
I made reservations for 4 for 1:30pm last Sunday for my daughter's birthday brunch. We arrived a little after 1:00 and were told we could be seated right away. The restaurant was about 1/4 full with MANY open tables and booths. The hostess proceeded to seat us at a table, cramped next to a pillar right next to the kitchen. I very politely asked her if we could sit in a booth instead by the window. So she sat us in a VERY small booth that did NOT have a window and was again right by the kitchen. My family and I are not huge p... read more
