Terrible experience beginning to end. Part of the install, they agreed to remove my solar water heater and panels which they used a third party ( they use 3rd parties to complete all their work). The contractor said that there was more work than fluent had contacted him to do, fluent then finds a new contractor to do the work and doesn't tell the previous contractor. Enormous Disaster! Solar energy is great, too bad Fluent is an awful company. The installation didnt go well. It started with some miscommunications. Then,panels were installed incorrectly - too close to roof structures, and behind a chimney in permanent shade. The install team left without any info and no one ever called to say anything about the status or next steps. Over the next few weeks, I called an embarrassing number of times. Beware of their bait and switch tactics. I was promised a payment of $97.08 and it was raised to $129.46 a couple years later. This company short sells and rug pulls over a year later. They then do not have any viable customer support to reach via phone, they even pull the "I can't hear you, you're cutting out" c*** before hanging up on you. Horrible experience.
This is a c*** show. The different departments arent communicating. They came out a second time to fix part of the issues but didnt fix the dangerous issues. Installed half the panels on the non sunny side of the house. This was the worst thing I could have ever invested in. Its been a sh show from the beginning
Fluent Solar has failed the inspection by our **************, ********. They will not come out to fix the theed small issues so that our solar can be turned on. Fluent Solar ignores our calls, says lost our records and also promises to come out one day the following week but never show up. We would like to have our solar turned on so we can start using it. All the company needs to do is put a sticker on, ground it properly and one other issue. Then get their work inspected again with a passing grade.
Ive been signed up with fluent for about 9 months. It took about 7 meetings with them- in person- to get our system just on the roof. A few moths go by, we call and ask whats going on. They tell us we have to have another in person meeting at the house for our meters to be installed. Again off work, at the house. He leaves and a few hours later I go into the bathroom and we have no power. Mind you- we dont have a breaker box at this point. No one tells us anything. So were on the phone again. STAY AWAY FROM FLUENT SOLAR!! I've been a Fluent Solar customer now for about 6 months and I would not recommend this company for any of your solar needs. From the beginning I was told by Fluent Solar that the solar panels installed on my roof would be more than enough panels for my electric used. Now that I've had about 5 months worth of bills and I understand that the majority of those months are with the A/C running, the panels are not even close to covering the electric used. Did not answer questions before install that made me feel like they were not being professional with their product
they have lied about when they would put my solar panels in it was 3 months never heard a word then have a different electric company call to make arrangements to put a panel in and i was like i haven't heard from them for 3 months and tried to call the sales guy a long time ago and it was disconnected so i was just happy that a I didn't pay any money down cause this was obviously a scam then they contacted me i explained you told me you would start this project in two weeks it's been 3 months no thank you . was grateful I n... read more
