I rented a car through Expedia on ***June 4th*** with a total of $380.43 The front desk associate was a total *%+¥£€ and REFUSED to rent me a car without a credit card. (Which I didn’t have) and which was not mentioned anywhere on the Expedia website. I respectfully asked him if I could get my money back and he said I had to contact Expedia directly. First car given had urine smell everywhere!! Then they gave me a car with a faulty collision warning system that would brake on me on freeway with no cars around me!!! Third car didn’t start the next day and smelled like cigarette. Waiting on hold now for 40 minutes to get a 4th car while being stuck in hotel wasting my vacation in Florida because this company sucks so bad!!!
We had an absolutely awful experience. Called ahead and told them at counter my parents flight was delayed. Arrived 4 hours past time and told they didn’t have a car for them. After going back-and-forth, they were given a car, but were charged an extra $220 for a car not even close to what they had rented. Horrible horrible business!!! Avoid at all costs! First, don’t expect your quoted price to be even remotely close to what you will have to pay! Second, trying to get someone on the phone is next to impossible!!! We got a flat on a 100 degree Florida day, come to find out there is no spare tire. We call roadside assistance (since we’re paying for it) and it takes 46 minutes for a rep to get on the phone. She then tells me they have to send a tow truck and supposedly a replacement car. This was the worst experience in a retail establishment I have ever had. The staff was extremely rude and obnoxious to the point my wife asked to speak to a manager. The worker behind the counter refused as he was upset that we declined the additional products they were pettleing and became frustrated. One of their staff member actually physically assaulted my wife in the process. This obviously resulted in us not renting a vehicle from then and it basically almost ruined our whole vacation. Worst customer service ever. rented a car and made it sound like we needed all of these extra add ons. They added the toll package at $11.99 per day. We had the car for 7 days. We maybe went through $20 worth of tolls the entire trip. The guys made it sound like Flodida had tolls everywhere and we would spend so much more if we didnt get the package. The car was a piece of ceap. Air conditioning condenser made a loud noise and wasn't cool at all. I called to complain and noone ever called back. Never rent from them!
The only good thing was the gentleman named Andrew (who you check the car into) he tried to make the terrible experience better. The customer service behind the desk were terrible. They over charge and the price you expected is not what your going to pay. But definitely avoid this place.
This rental company is NOT at Orlando Airport. You will need to take a shuttle (with very inconsistent timing) and if you arrive or depart very early, they tell you to pay for an Uber because the shuttle is not operating. Additionally, the wait lines are quite long as only two people were manning the desk, and one of them constantly asked the other for help.
Stay clear away! After booking a car and prepaying through Priceline, they took an additional $400+ dollars unauthorized out of the bank for charges that were never agreed on! Insurance, a toll pass (we paid cash for all the tolls), and additional driver. We declined all additional expenses. Every number we tried calling for Fox led us to the same line that said there are 10 callers ahead of us and will be a long wait.
