orlando experience: AWFUL!!!! Went with this rental place due to previously seen reviews. Wish we never went with them. Arriving at the airport, we followed the directions to get to the shuttle service. After waiting nearly 45 minutes, we were relieved to FINALLY see a Fox shuttle. Also, I should mention that our flight was delayed and we were approaching one of our reservation times (we had 2 rentals). ROGHT NOW! 4/25/2021 sitting in Target parking lot since 8:30 this morning with a dead ass car from this place. Waited 18 min to get on with roadside. Who side they would be there in a hour. Only to have them cancel that after an hour in a hour and till me that someone will be out in in the 90 min. The. I call customer service who tells me that she can only let Fox know that I will be returning there care. That she can not help me in any other way. Very disappointed this time. Flight to Orlando was delayed, so we arrived 3 hours later. Apparently because we booked through web with 3rd party/company and had fine print saying that our reservation is only for 2 hours. FoxRentACar gave away our reserved car and we were "lucky" to get different car, smaller, with additional charge than original reservation. I originally booked midsize SUV and instead "as a huge favor" got all scratched up Nissan Altima with dirty windshield and washer fluid empty. Will not rent with them... read more

Run away from this car rental agency as fast as you can. You think that you are getting a great deal on a rental car when in actuality they try to nickel and dime you on everything. From trying to force you into getting their added insurance to letting them fill up the tank when you drop off the car and to paying their daily fee for the Sunpass. The representative I dealt with was very rude. I spoke with my insurance agent prior to our vacation letting him know that we were renting a car down in Florida. He told me that our ... read more

WOW! I've rented many cars and by far this out of this world. 7.99/gal - nearly double MCO CRF 10% Tax 6.5% surcharge $2 per day License fee $1.17 per day Emissions fee $1.50 per day insurance $25.99 per day/this is the lowest rate $150 credit hold by far we paid at least double almost triple to what we usually pay at other places for the same time. Yikes!

Orlando Fox car rental was a nightmare! Waited for 90 minutes for Shuttle service....never showed up. By the time we were able to get there from an Uber, they were closed for the night since they close at 12:30 AM. Within have to get an Uber to our hotel room. We then had to get an Uber from our hotel back to Fox the next morning. They canceled our reservation because we were three hours past the assigned confirmation! I can’t make this up! In Orlando Fox Auto is actually 30 minutes from the airport (the opposite direction of the airport to Universal). the wait to receive our rental was 2 hours. Fox Auto requires the extra insurance along with other hidden fees. It is impossible to reach them via the phone or email. Our rental had wax all over the windshield. when returning our vehicle the customers at the counter on both sides of us were complaining as well. I reserved a car rental online for 2 days, costing $230. I was told the deposit was $200, rather than $150 like the fine print on the reservation through Expedia. I also added the coverage for toll roads to my rental. I drove this rental straight from Orlando and Tampa, never stopping at any moment. When I attempted to move the vehicle, it would NOT start back up!! Their roadside assistance said it is $100 to send someone out. This company gave me a malfunctioning vehicle!!
