BUYER BEWARE!!! I don't usually take the time to write negative reviews, but this place is an absolute scam! I booked a reservation for a Jeep on Expedia for a total of $172.86. Upon arrival at the location (after taking an Uber there, because the free Shuttle would have taken 40 minutes after waiting for our turn), the guy at the counter asked if I wanted the extra insurance coverage. Waited in line for an hour and a half they had 3 people working and around 20 people waiting. Also if you pay with a debit card it’s an extra $400 for the week that they hold was not told that. Car isn’t bad I guess, other than scratches, a few dings and an odd white stain on the drivers seat...
Was told I would receive my deposit within 24 hours. Cant get through to customer service been waiting for over an hour on phone. They tell you that you have to buy the toll everyday which is a lie. That was almost 80$ added and gone down the drain. Tried sending emails and messages with no response back.
After waiting in line for almost 3 hours they cancelled our reservation and left us hanging. Do not rent with this lousy company.
fox car had more roaches than i ever seen and charged me anyway. Roaches fot in my purse, my food and my luggage. i even have video at the rental building where the roach fell out while i was cleaning out my purse. NASTY NASTY NASTY. A ROACH IS NOT A BEETLE OR AND ANT OR A MOSQUITO. A ROACH IS A ROACH.
Terrible experience! EDITED: a lot of unnecessary stress but after a call with Fox Customer Service I got refund. During a pickup Fox employee forced me to buy "optional" insurance even I showed him my own car insurance which works with rental cars. He just said that I need to buy "optional" insurance, otherwise I can go rent a car in other company! He left me with no choice as last minute rental price in other companies was crazy expensive at that time... after two weeks i filled the tank and went to return the car. I ask... read more
The first car I received was completely filthy and had bad tires, after I didn't accept that car I was given an "upgrade" of which I was then charged for. My "upgrade" smelt of ashtrays and strippers. My 7 year old daughter found a razor blade and peanut butter in the backseat. Then they double charged me! I have yet to get anyone on the phone! Seriously considering contacting an attorney to handle them. FILTHY DURING A PANDEMIC, AND ROBBING FOLKS. Where's the better business bureau?!
Book elsewhere in Orlando.. unless you enjoy unserviced, dirty vehicles, hidden fees/lack of transparency about charges, and awful attitudes.
sneaky turds nearly doubled my bill sneaking in insurance coverage for almost 30 a day. car was dirty, our tpms light was on, others were complaining about check engine light... Dont rent from here. shuttle drivers were nice though
