As a small town dealer I take great pride in selling nice used affordable cars and back them up with a freedom warranty. I thought I was doing a good thing I sold over 100 policy’s out of my pocket had zero claims I turn one claim in and was denied! Your warranty is good for starting a fire. I wouldn’t buy this crap nor would I ever trust them again! Ps the money I paid in warranties to give my customers and myself peace of mind I could have repaired this claim! FREEDOM WARRANTY GARBAGE...I’m a dealer of over 10 years and in the business over 20. I take pride in standing behind my vehicles and providing quality products to my customers. I have been selling these worthless contracts for years. I stopped using them a year ago because they are not a quality product and they do not stand behind what they sell. Freedom Warranty is one of the biggest scams in the United States. I pray the Federal Trade Commission opens an investigation on the business practices of this company. We sold a 3k warranty, on a used vehicle, which included commercial usage. The customer had an issue after 1600 miles and Freedom Warranty made sure they denied the claim not once but twice. We were able to determine your Dealership which will remain unnamed. Your Dealership sold 2 contracts since sign up on August 30, 2019. Both contracts had claims on them. The first vehicle needed a new transmission after traveling 21 miles from when you sold the car to the customer. The second vehicle traveled 1608 miles. I am not surprised at all that my claim was denied after taking my vehicle in to get repaired on 11/05 and each day passing started to do my research and found that FREEDOM WARRANTY IS NOTORIOUS FOR TRYING TO FIND EVERY AND ANY REASON TO DENY YOUR CLAIM!!!!! Terrible warranty and absolutely horrible customer service. One part they stated was not covered and the other they claimed was pre-existing and would not cover it either. Now I am out $2000 in repairs. Fortunately I haven't had the warranty that long and can cancel it for most of my money back. Freedom can't seem to calculate the right refund amount though. Buyer beware.... Anyone remotely considering purchasing this “Warranty”. Be warned... read every bit of fine print in the actual contract copy... The dealer I purchased from sells these warranties, showing you a trifold brochure.. salesman even said “ it’s easier to tell you what’s not covered..they really talk it up.. there are a ton more things than the 11 bullet points they list On the front.. this is a glorified scam.. and they entice dealers to sell this junk, giving them vacations.. LOL..

Car broke down...limped car into shop...car had a mechanical failure...it’s in writing it’s covered and the claim was denied. I called to cancel and was told to call the dealer...called the dealer to cancel and get refunded it wasn’t until then they decided to work with me...For what the warranty actually covered (not even half) I was better off just getting a full refund....not only out of 2700 but I still had to pay 1900 out of pocket for the repair...I just don’t understand how something can be in writing clear as day and... read more
