Perfect for my 9 year old who just received it for his birthday. I am so much more confident letting him go down the street with friends now!
We have loved the Gabb watch for our 6 year old. We love we can see where she’s at when playing with friends, she can send check ins, and call her family. Two things I hope to see from Gabb is the option to send your child voice chats back- as they can only voice chat you, but you can’t send them back, as well as options to send full messages and not just preset messages. We got the watch for my kid and it’s useful for messaging and calling BUT it is not always accurate on location I get alerted that she has left the safe zone when she’s hasn’t, it often randomly calls people without her knowing about until they’re talking to her and lastly It will not let me add some contacts although it claims you can add 10 people.
Great phone for someone learning responsibility. I do wish there was an option for an app to write and read on, but otherwise wonderful!
We love the watch and the app works great of you have and iphone HOWEVER if you have an android phone the app doesn’t really work. It keeps crashing which os very disappointing and i this known issue was fully disclosed to parents on their website. Customer service is aware of this issue however this is no timeframe as to when this will be fixed so parents with Android phone be aware that the parent app may not work and there is no way to use the GPS functionality if you don’t have the app installed. I purchased this phone for all of my children ages 13, 15, and 18. They love it because they feel like they have their lives back.
It’s awesome but when I try to set up a safe zone for my child, I press save then it says: “ please select at least one device” but it doesn’t show a place where I can select! I love this app but that’s the worst part. I can not set up a safe zone. 🙁
The app is really user friendly. The gps is spot on as well which I love. My son loves his watch. If I could make a few suggestions, the step counter on the app is always showing 0 steps even though I have a step count set, it only shows the average. Also eventually it would be cool to have a few different wallpaper settings to choose from. Over all though the app and the watch are amazing and well worth it. I’m glad I went with this brand.
