This app mostly does what it says but I'm finding things are falling short of being truly useful. Yes I can see the GPS, text and call, and assign tasks. BUT... 1- the app is constantly dropping me off and I keep having to re-log in which is incredibly annoying. How do I get alerts if I'm not logged in? There's no quick way to log with face or touch ID, have to enter actual info or click passwords and go through that whole multi step process, multiple times/day. 2- I can assign tasks but there's no way to keep track of coins... read more
Love this phone. It is affordable and practical. There is no reason for kids to need or have the internet on their phones. We bought this for my 7th grader and we love it. We can text each other and her friends can texts. It has been the perfect phone for our daughter and family standards. I have not had to fight with her about being on her phone all the time. She has need great with it.
We bought this for our 6th grader and it’s fantastic not to have to worry about him being on social media and other apps but still able to talk to friends, etc. Looks/feels like a regular smart phone. I just REALLY wish there was a way to view the content of text messages on the app or in your account online OR some sort of filtering/alert system like Bark uses to make sure there is no inappropriate texting or cyber bullying happening. If it had that it would be perfect and 5 stars!
The GPS is pretty accurate, but the locating part only really works when it wants to. Sometimes I have to hit the locate icon multiple times before I finally close the app and try again. Then it takes minutes to locate. Pretty disappointed in this considering it’s one of the main selling points for the phone.
Love the watch and concept. The load time on my iPhone app is VERY slow. I don’t like using the location finder because it takes forever to get into the app.
I would love to be able to edit the safe zones the way I want. Like in a straight line instead of a huge circle. My son is 6 and just learning to go out on his own and there are certain spots I dont want him to go, but with the circle safe zone he is able too. Please fix this to where we can manually change the safe zones the way we want.
I got this watch for my daughter and she adores it! She especially loves the pet penguin on gabb go. She carries it EVERYWHERE and charges it when it is even 99%! I would totally recommend to anyone who is looking for a phone on a wrist and no internet! Also gabb go keeps her in a awesome mood! Wishing the best, Olya P.S. I was not paid to say this. We got my 9 year old the Gabb watch. So far it’s been great. I like that we can call and text on her watch and vice versa. I wish the voice text would send as a text written out rather than an actual voice message. However, no biggie. My only complaint so far is that sometimes the gps tracking is slow. On a regular day, not a big deal. But in the event something bad happens or if we ever not know where our child is, the slow gps finding could be extremely stressful.
Really like the Gabb watch. Problem 1. it’s hard to make different locks for different kids. Wish there was just a way to open one kids profile and hit Lock! 2. Also need a Lock Screen on the kids actual watch so they don’t accidentally call people when playing at school or something. 3. Now my app is glitching.
