We recently refinanced our home and I cannot be happier. Not only we are saving money, but the process we experienced with Garden State Loans was better than any time we had to deal with a any lender. Norm Tomasello responded immediately to any questions or concerns and even insisted we call his cell phone anytime with any questions. His assistant, Lisa Celentano, was also very knowledgeable and courteous. I absolutely recommend Garden State Loans and will be sure to call them again if and when we purchase a new house.

Helpful. Responsive. Accessible. Great. Anthony Casa and his team at Garden State Loans are amazing. I recently went through the process of purchasing my first home and as you can imagine, I was nervous and excited at the sametime. Anthony from Garden StateLoans made my refinance experience alot smoother than I had anticipated. We were able to close in about 3 weeks time. The level of customer service that I received is 2nd to none. All questions that I had, were answered promptly and everything that I was told in the beginning of the process held true! I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

I had a very positive experience and would recommend Garden State to anyone in fact I already have. Although I was not advised that the flood and home owners insurance was going to be included in the monthly payment I was still fine with it. Dong the refinance saved me close to $100,000.00 by cutting 5 years off my mortgage and almost $200.00 a month. Closing was a breeze. lawyer came right to my house.

Bottom line, my experience dealing with Norm Tomasello, a Sr. Loan Consultant with Garden State Home Loans was very positive. I can only speak to Norm and his assistant, but if the rest of the employees at GSHL's are as responsive, knowledgeable and professional, you can't go wrong with this company in my opinion. I researched refi rates through Bankrate.com and found that GSHL's had the most competitive rates given my desired term. Anthony and the Garden State team were a pleasure to work with. They were able to get a rate lower than originally anticipated. Communication was great and always very responsive even at night and on the weekends. This was the 3 loan closed by Garden State and I would use them again for any new purchases.

When I first contacted Garden State Home Loans, I was honestly a bit suspicious because it all sounded too good to be true. I spent a few days trying to put a hole in their story but I could not. I shopped around and could not find anything close to what they were offering. They never steered me wrong and kept me informed at every step of the process. We chose to work with Garden State before we even had a realtor to sell our home/buy a new home. I read the reviews of several lenders/brokers and the fact that Garden state loans had such awesome reviews coupled with some research on why it's better to work with a broker instead of directly with a lender (it's so much better), were the driving forces behind our partnership with Garden State. Anthony from Garden State Home Loans, seemingly called me out of the blue while I was refinancing. He got me a much better deal than anyone that was recommended to me or anyone that was listed on the HARP website. The refinance got closed and settled super fast from the time I filled out my application. From start to finish was about 30 days, but there were delays due to me being unable to find certain documents and other things that were my fault.
