My and Wife visit Garrison Oak for date night and had a wonderful experience. The food was great, waitress was great and a very nice place.
The food was very good for the price the steak melted in your mouth and the chef made butter that they put on top is absolutely amazing. The waitress Brooklyn was very friendly and personable. I would defiantly dine at this restaurant again.
Our server, T’Ana, was very sweet. The ambience was PERFECT! From the decor and the music (JAZZ 😍 and at the perfect volume) to the lighting and the cleanliness, we loved it! We felt like we were in Nashville, not just a few minutes outside of post. We could see ourselves returning. Price-point of the drinks was perfect! I thought there would be more food options, but the menu wasn’t what was online.
Opening night was a little chaotic as the staff worked out the kinks, but the menu is amazing and we'll definitely be going back.
Being a steak house, I ordered one, but was not what I expected. It was good, but same as if I cooked it myself. No real fancy tasting steak, just plain ol normal piece of meat. Potato was good, little more taste then the steak, but a little pricey at $8 dollars just for the potato. Steak was $25, I guess not bad, but again, no real taste for a steak house. All in all it was good, just not 5 star's.
Ordered food and they gave me the wrong menu item that i ordered. had to what for the new item to be cooked then when got the noodles were undercooked. Waitress never check up on us. Had to get up and find a waitress to return the menu item they sent that was wrong. Ask for some more napkins took ten min to get some. Just a bad night there.
Our table service was very good. Tha Host was pleasant and our server was attentive and very professional. My wife had the baked chicken which was very good, it was garnished with asparagus spears which were good also. I has the rib special. The ribs were plentiful (I took some home). The steaks were great but the sides, for the price, were just okay. There was literally a spoon of smashed potatoes for $11 and there was nothing great about them. The brussel sprouts were undercooked. The corn creme brulee was rather tasty. Our server and the service staff were wonderful. In my opinion, I've had better food at a chain restaurant. The prices are very inflated. The ambience was nice but not nice enough to account for a $200 bill that only included an appetizer, an entree, a side, and sweet tea for two people.
