Service was slow and not very attentive. Steak was ordered medium rare and came medium to medium well. Ambiance was loud. People talking on speaker phone at next table over. For a $300 meal the service and atmosphere should be MUCH better.
Our experience was decent the staff was great, the drinks were strong but amazing. Food was sub par. Our starters were great the crab cake and and candied bacon were very good. The problem was the the steak. Both were over cooked, greasy and under seasoned. The quality of the meat is not that good enough to “just let the meat do the talking” as some would say. I was deeply disappointed by our entrees. If your tastebud are ready for the retirement home then this place is perfect for you
Cheeseburger had too much salt, bordered burnt, and bun was worse I've ever had. Chicken was dry and lacking any flavor. Server was most incompetent and slow to come to or return to table, promptness was non-existent. The mentioned cheeseburger and chicken meals took 47 minutes after ordered to arrive to table.
The food was bland the steak was extremely chewy. The food used to be worth the money, not anymore.
The flavors and quality of the food didn't match the price .

We’ve eaten here many times since we lived in the area (4 years) and this experience was a huge disappointment. The cold bar offerings (shrimp & mussels) were excellent, but the main course offerings & desserts were disappointing. The turkey & pork were very dry, with no gravy to be found, and the young lady at the carving station was quite stingy, as though it was coming out of her pocket. My husband and I visit Garrison Steakhouse several times a year and we usually have a great experience. Our lastest visit was very disappointing. Many of the Chef Speciality menu items were already sold out. My husband and I found this to be quite odd because the restaurant had only been open for 1 hour. The last two times we have come and ordered a filet it was thin and not like a filet should be. We have always gotten a filet there and it's thick! What we had the last few times looked like a sirloin cut or a hamburger steak. Not impressed with your cut for a filet now:(. The taste is ok but still not like a filet should be. And yes we have told our server and the host!
