Get directionsI purchased what they said was a Paribas tourmaline with a appraisal saying it is worth 10 thousand dollars, took it to my jeweler and it isn't a Pariba its a appetite stone, very cheap!! Spent 3500 dollars and it's worth 900.
How frustrating to listen to Hunter, one of the GSN showhost, when he mumbles and fumbles over completing a sentence. The other showhost are no better they speed through the description of an item and scream at the top of their lungs. The least professional group of show host on tv. I wish Frank was back at the helm to make gem shopping a pleasurable experience.
I purchased a ring total of almost 1600. I've tried purchasing before but never pulled the trigger. It's a lot of money, especially now when my job furloughs me due to covid. I freaked out and canceled my order and received nothing but rudeness from Kenton. I had then remove my account. Why would I buy from a company that treats you like **** when you have to cancel an order. That's just poor customer service. Never again. Kenton needs to quit with the attitude.
In response to my post dated 10/23, I received a letter from Gem Shopping Network (GSN). This letter accuses me of posting defamatory statements, making public slanderous accusations and threatening baseless legal action. I stand by the statements I made regarding GSN and their misrepresentations of the valuation of jewelry; all in an effort to inflate value and promote sales. I have all the supporting documentation needed, ironically supplied by GSN. With respect to threatening baseless legal action, I have proceeded accor... read more
I purchased a diamond bracelet valued at $77,000, screenshot of GSN representation is available. Upon receipt of the bracelet,I received an AJI valuation of $33,000 also available. Upon taking the item to jeweler, I received a retail valuation of $10,000-$12,000. I paid $11,900 for this item. I believe The GSN is in non-compliance with FTC rule, Section23.1 pertaining to Deception In General and specifically as it relates to "unfair or deceptive " price valuations In particular as pertains to jewelry. I believe this is a per... read more
My mother and I have watched a few weeks of GSN and I've found not the show to be an issue but the actual ways to get information about a certain item to be more of an issue. If I go for the live chat for my mother I get some of the most unprofessional people I've ever met and do not bother to read more than 5 words of what is written. If I ask a time limit or a price, I want a direct answer- not some rude colloquial beating around the bush language to try to sell it to me NOW NOW NOW. If it is unknown knowledge then say it ... read more
I used to enjoy shopping on Gem Shopping network until I saw my invoice for a ring that I purchased. The ring was supposed to be $695 plus shipping and taxes. No one could explain to me why the price of the ring was $895 and not the original $695 as quoted to me. I also purchased what was supposed to be a three row diamond ring. I finally got to my jeweler yesterday to have it resized only to find out side rows where not diamonds but white sapphires. So no more Gem shopping network for me.
I have been shopping with GSN for years, the last 2 purchase's have ended my shopping with them. I got a star sapphire ring, I asked them if it's a strong 6 ray star. They said it is a very strong star. When the ring came the sapphire was a big cloud with a faint star. Very very faint, in every light I put it in. I called the support, I was on hold for 25 min. Just to get the return number they require. This ended up costing me close to 50.00 on shipping charges. I called them and explained that the stone was miss represente... read more
