Baycroft Great Baddow team made moving Mum and Dad into the home very easy despite the Covid-19 lockdown. The care and attention that they both have received from all members of staff from senior management, to the care team and to the admin team have been excellent. They are both settling in really well and have made new friends, are enjoying the residents' activities that have now restarted and especially love the food and the chance to talk to the chef about what they like to eat. Even after only a short time, Mum has settled in well and feels secure that the staff know how to look after her special nursing needs. Baycroft has exceeded my expectations in the way all members of staff have dealt with the family from the initial enquiry to ongoing calls as Mum settles in. I feel able to contact the care home with any queries and they are promptly and politely dealt with. This has helped in what has been a difficult and stressful time for Mum and her family.

They made moving my father into a care home during Covid as stress-free as it could be. Communication with the home has been fantastic. Every member of staff that I have so far seen have gone out of their way to help me and my father in any way possible. Even though it’s early days (Dad has only moved in this week after losing his wife in February). It was so lovely to hear him saying that he was very happy with the room and the food was brilliant.

The care and attention that Mum has received whilst being in Baycroft have been excellent. All the staff and personnel across the whole spectrum of jobs within the home are so hardworking and dedicated. This is especially appreciated as the past 6-months have been so incredibly challenging. Mum says she feels comfortable, safe and secure, which is great.

Since moving to Baycroft, mum has been treated with nothing less than courtesy and kindness. The care team, nurses and entertainment team are amazing and treat her with consideration at all times. Facilities and surroundings are excellent and the staff are supportive of family members as well as residents. No query or question re her care is dismissed as trivial or annoying.

My nan is happy here. Oustanding facilities and care staff. She was very much against the move into the home, but she soon came around when she had stayed there for a short period of time.

My mother has been with you now for over two years and she and the whole family are delighted at the high standard of care she has received - both physical and emotional. She refers to Baycroft as her home. We are particularly impressed by the amount of stimulation you provide for the residents and have been blown away by your dedication during Covid.

The staff at this care home have always been friendly and helpful. My mother has been a resident since March and unfortunately arrived only three weeks before covid forced the home to close to visitors. During the lockdown, we, relatives have been well informed with the situation in the home. I am very happy with my mother's care.

Since my mother became a resident in 2018, I can only praise the home and the staff therein. At the time she became a resident, the home had newly opened and she was only one of a handful of residents. The care and love she has received, has been second to none. Care and attention was always a priority as the home grew, which was deliberately slow over a period of time to ensure the happiness of the residents already in-situ and those joining the community.
