Easy to use for the user When we used this on the Front desk, it always seemed to work just fine. In our restaurant, it would have a day here and there, but customer support was always effective at doing what they could as fast as they could, regardless of whether it seemed fast enough on our end. When this system works, you forget that it's there almost, it's that straight forward to use once it's set up. (I wasn't there when it was set up.) Expensive but worth it I’ve used heartland for a good while and I can say it’s reliable, easy to use and has every tool you’ll need. It’s way too expensive but if you are looking for the best this is it. PROS I struggled to run my business until I had heartland. Heartland makes payroll and tax season so easy I could never go back. Heartland is fast and reliable CONS Super expensive. Is the most expensive payroll company I’ve worked with.
Pretty good processor PROS I liked Heartlands customer service. They were always easy to understand and helpful. CONS They had a lot of fees that kept going higher over the years.
Heartland for the Heart It has always been a positive experience for me. PROS I love how easy it is to pull our check stubs and read them. CONS I got locked out because I would forget the client code often.

They do UI and Withholding for me! It didn't really matter that the dashboard was overwhelming because customer service has been phenomenal. From the tons of time the first person took to help me decide if Heartland was a good fit and understand the fees to my current assigned helper who checks in with me from time to time to see if I have any questions. Heartland On my end is was easy however again the verbiage is a little confusing when reading our paychecks compared to ADP PROS The product is an easier process than ADP CONS The information is not put in terms to be easily understood by the average employee REASONS FOR SWITCHING TO HEARTLAND PAYMENT PROCESSING The transition was not a smooth one so we switched back to Heartland. We used it first then got ADP and switched back after a couple months.
A Heart of Gold PROS It’s nice to have a representative from the company that you get to partner with when using the program. I am able to go into businesses and show the products and services that can be offered through them and their customers. The software is updated on a regular basis and we can work with the set up an implementation team from Heartland to do so. Excellent and efficient! I become very excited each time I see Heartland in my bank account. Of course, this is because I am receiving money but it is also because I feel assured that Heartland has done it's job efficiently and effectively. PROS Heartland Payment Processing is the company my higher education school uses to process our tuition payments and reimbursement.
