Payment processing works well, but the user interface is confusing and cumbersome PROS Payments are made to our company in a timely manner CONS Dashboard and reporting are difficult to use. We were given two different websites to login to, but never given training on where to look for transactions and reports. Support was lacking.
Very Disappointed Heartland Payment Processing need a little customer service training. PROS It was easy, convenient and not expensive. CONS My account was closed due to no activity. Had I known this would happen to me, I would have used the system. I have over 300 tax clients, and of course during tax season, there was going to be a lot more usage, then after tax season. Lack of customer service, support, knowledge I can't get my questions answered!! No one has a clue, but we are paying a expensive fee. The sales rep sold me on a platform which was supposed to be better and cheaper, but I am a firmly believe he opened a new account to make a sale for himself. It was almost exactly the same and more expensive!! When asked for a refund, heartland was unable to do it. Easy to use for the user When we used this on the Front desk, it always seemed to work just fine. In our restaurant, it would have a day here and there, but customer support was always effective at doing what they could as fast as they could, regardless of whether it seemed fast enough on our end. When this system works, you forget that it's there almost, it's that straight forward to use once it's set up. (I wasn't there when it was set up.) I don’t recommend heartland I don’t recommend heartland. Everyone in my company had a difficult Time using it and it wasn’t given to us as advertised. PROS Heartland was easy to use when it came to general use. Which made it easy to train employees. Expensive but worth it I’ve used heartland for a good while and I can say it’s reliable, easy to use and has every tool you’ll need. It’s way too expensive but if you are looking for the best this is it. PROS I struggled to run my business until I had heartland. Heartland makes payroll and tax season so easy I could never go back. Heartland is fast and reliable CONS Super expensive. Is the most expensive payroll company I’ve worked with.
Pretty good processor PROS I liked Heartlands customer service. They were always easy to understand and helpful. CONS They had a lot of fees that kept going higher over the years.
Heartland for the Heart It has always been a positive experience for me. PROS I love how easy it is to pull our check stubs and read them. CONS I got locked out because I would forget the client code often.
