AVOID - AVOID - AVOID Winner of the WORST contractor AWARD! High Priority Plumbing (HPP) is THE WORST kind of contractor....the kind that warranties their work but FAILS to correct, MISLEADS their customers so they can EVADE taking responsibility for their IMPROPER work. HPP guaranteed their work on my home for 5 years but it's WORTHLESS... they don't honor it. HPP and their subcontractor, Floodmasters strung me along misleading me that they were going to repair my home outside of their insurance. But then they always ca... read more

Regardless of how High Priority tries to justify the reasons to explain their business practice and their behavior, it's not right. The long and short of the matter is they did work on or home because of the money. Initially, they said they did not work on our system. Regardless they continued to send out technicians. Every time a technician responded to our request, we paid them $50.00. I have no idea how much they were paid by HSA. The last time they sent out a technician, late July, who advised he did not work on our sys... read more

Business response:

On our first visit to Mrs. Stennett's home, the septic tank was diagnosed by a state certified septic technician. From the first appointment, the septic technician made the customer aware that they have a Clearwater System, which we do not service. All we could do is pump the tank to provide temporary relief and advise the customer that they would need a different contractor who could further service their system. (All of which was communicated with the customer.) High Priority Plumbing received a work order from the custome... read more

Wished to rate this company in negative numbers however a 1 is the lowest possible rating. We had a issue with water backing up in a toilet from the washing machine that was next to the laundry room. Also the actual drain for the washer was also clogged and we were draining the washer through the Mud Sink. We already had a plumber snake the line and he said we need to have someone run a camera through the line. High Priority came out and the tech ran the camera through the line and charge over 600 dollars the result was ... read more

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL OF THIS PLACE: My warranty company sent it to check the water heater, which stopped working during Fourth of July holiday. Five mins before the technician came over, I set the top and bottom thermometer to the max level (from about 135 to 150) to see if the water got warmer, but it did not. When the technician arrived, I told him about what I did and he agreed that the water temperature was not warm as I set the thermometer to the max. However, the technician put on the report that "the water heater st... read more

Business response:

According to your home warranty we must include the temperature in the diagnosis, because of this high temperature the new heater was denied. It is our technicians responsibility to fulfill all information in a detailed diagnosis. Please follow up with your home warranty company and we hope this situation is resolved.

I recently used High Priority based on my insurance company's recommendation and the service was inadequate. When the technician saw the missing stopper, he asked if I had ever had one. I stated yes and that the stopper broke off from the plumbing and I threw it away. I was not able to use the insurance due to the technician indicating that I had a missing stopper top. When I tried to understand why my missing stopper would hinder the process of repairing the stopper, he instantly indicated that I could pay $167.00 with ... read more

This company charged my insurance company/me $9000 to put fans in my home to dry out rooms and for asbestos testing. I wish that I had gone to Walmart to purchase fans to do this myself. I could have saved my insurance company some money.

Jennifer was extremely RUDE. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, condescending. It has taken over two weeks to get our water heater fixed. She was not helpful in finding a solution to this problem.

Business response:

Hi, Nia. We are sorry to hear of this experience you had. Unfortunately we are unable to locate you in our system based on the name given. Would you send us a message with more details so we can address these concerns? Or give our management a call at 770.860.8110. Thank you for your time.

Would have rated this company with zero stars, if it was possible. Needles to say, I strongly do not recommend this company. They think they can take advantage of their customers. After stalling for two days to give me a break down of the charges, this company quoted me for installing a water heater and told me installation required a dripping pan (Most expensive add-on item, besides the water heater) and stated it was required by code. As an informed consumer, I had two other bigger companies give me quotes and those comp... read more

Came out for a clogged pipe, snaked the drain unsuccessfully and took off with the $100 service claiming my warranty company would refund it. Little did I know is that the service fee went directly to the plumbing company and cannot be refunded becuase the payment isn't to the warranty company (like a copayment situation). Called a different plumber the next day and they remedied the issue in under an hour. They also took a while to get on the schedule when we had sewage coming up the drain. Highly suggest going through some... read more

Business response:

Jacob, we are sorry for your bad experience. We always strive to provide the best rates and service. Unfortunately the warranty company charges a fee; they have changed their policy and you are able to dispute this charge. Feel free to give our office a call 770-860-8110 and we will assist with your claim.
