Absolutely not, these guys are after your money. They offer services for cost that other companies provide for free not to mention they don't fix the plumbing problem. I had to call another plumbing company to unclog my pipes. Took the follow-on plumber ten minutes to clear the pipe. Their service is equal to what is now free flowing down my sewer pipe.

Business response:

We would be happy to look into this for you. Unfortunately we are unable to locate a customer with this name and provided information. Would you send us a message providing the property address? Or you can give us a call to speak with a manager. (770) 860-8110

I called High Priority Plumbing after my wife had seen them at a home and garden show marketing their services. They responded to my home the day after I called, and CJ, the plumber who responded, was very personable and professional. I needed to have two outside faucets replaced. Outside faucets normally sell for $15 or so. PVC pipe and adhesive cost $10 or so. The cost of parts for the job would be less than $50. CJ gave me a quote for the job.... $437!!!! Let that sink in. That would be over $350 for labor that wo... read more

Business response:

Doug, we apologize that we were not able to accept your offer. We have done extensive research and do believe our pricing is fair, competitive, and reflects the value of having a licensed and insured company perform the work. We are glad you had a pleasant experience with CJ and do hope you'll give us another try.

My home warranty sent a contractor over from High Priority Plumbing to diagnose my hot water heater not producing enough hot water in order to determine coverage. The contractor misinterpreted what I communicated by stating I drained the tank without turning it off first, when I actually told him I had drained my faucets, not the tank, to get air out of my pipes. I also communicated I'd recently purchased the home and there were previous issues with the tank and the water pressure per the previous owners, hence the home wa... read more

Business response:

This customer wanted us to alter our diagnosis to have the claim covered. We did respond to the customer when she first reached out to us in regards to her complaint. We told her we can not change our diagnosis and she is welcome to get a second opinion. Technician's notes: Customer had a handy man come look at something in the home he drained the house down and put air pockets in heater which then burnt the elements up, called warranty, was not a covered item due to not normal wear and tear, customer didn't want to pay sf... read more

Jeff from high Priorty was great. Very professional was on time and fixed the issue quickly. We previously had a company come out 4 times and not fix the problem. Jeff was done in an hour. He is a great guy and explains everything to you. Highly recommend them. New This is a terrible company do not use them they have lied and not fixed the issue.

Business response:

We are in communication with this customer and addressing the issues addressed above. We will update Yelp customers once everything is taken care.

Don't use if you have any issues with gas. Had a gas leak from our water heater and they were sent out by the warranty company. They came twice and told us there wasn't really a leak. We have Atlanta Gas Light come TWICE - before and after High Priority's visit and there was still a leak. HP's plumber assured us it was fine - saying the gas leak WASN'T coming from the fuel line that Atlanta Gas Light said it was coming from. Finally we called a real plumber who fixed it immediately. This plumber also said it was the fuel lin... read more

Business response:

Erin, we appreciate the time you took to review us on Yelp. Your feedback is very important to us. We have reviewed the notes left by the technician that serviced your call, and he did not smell any gas. He did everything he could to check for signs of a gas leak, but didn't see any. He thought that it might have been a vent problem, however we do not provide ventilation services. If you would like to speak further regarding your experience with us, please give us a call and ask to speak with our management team. Thank you. ... read more

This company is extremely unprofessional. It took them 3 days to come out to address our plumbing problem and when the technician arrived, he was not only unable to fix the problem for which he was called due to lack of materials on this (large) van, but also he left abruptly denouncing his 3 other appointments that followed after mine. "Sometimes we fix the problem, sometimes we don't" when I asked if problems are fixed on the first call. During our three day waiting period before he could come out, another plumbing issue ... read more

We reached out to this customer in a private message asking for the property address and date of the appointment so we could look into this, and they did not provide it. We cannot confirm these allegations and hope that you won't consider them when choosing High Priority for your plumbing needs.

The technician misdiagnosed the location of a leak that flooded my basement to my warranty company, causing them to deny coverage. When I discovered the true location of the leak, he refused to admit his mistake even after being shown a picture of it. He was rude and hung up me as I tried to explain this. I had to hire another plumber who came out and easily fixed the issue. I now have to fight for reimbursement from the warranty company. I would never recommend this kind of person to do any work of any kind in a person's ho... read more

Business response:

This homeowner had a leak outside his home for which the warranty company would not cover. When the technician went back to the home the homeowner had pushed the pipe in to the garage area, we believe, in hopes that the warranty company would then cover due to the leak being "inside his home". Please do not consider these claims when choosing High Priority for your plumbing needs.

3 encounters with this company, 2 different techs, same results: laziness, incompetence, doesn't want to do any work, just wants to collect service fees from the warranty company. "Christopher" in particular, is especially dishonest and incompetent. He declared a hot water heater "not up to code" from all the way across the basement without even doing due diligence, which would have shown it was indeed up to code. He also had the audacity to tell me he had no tools on him except a pair of channel lock pliers in his giant plu... read more

Darrin was rude from the start. Walked in and immediately said the warranty company wouldn't cover it, but he could do it for $189. After reading other Yelp reviews, I think that's pretty typical for this company. They tell you insurance won't cover it and they charge you individually on top of the $75 you pay for the service charge. Don't use this company.
