3 encounters with this company, 2 different techs, same results: laziness, incompetence, doesn't want to do any work, just wants to collect service fees from the warranty company. "Christopher" in particular, is especially dishonest and incompetent. He declared a hot water heater "not up to code" from all the way across the basement without even doing due diligence, which would have shown it was indeed up to code. Darrin was rude from the start. Walked in and immediately said the warranty company wouldn't cover it, but he could do it for $189. After reading other Yelp reviews, I think that's pretty typical for this company. They tell you insurance won't cover it and they charge you individually on top of the $75 you pay for the service charge. Don't use this company.

Arrived. Looked at the toilet. Sat in his truck for 20 minutes on the phone. Came in and told me our toilet wasn't covered by the warranty that covers toilets. Apparently he described our broken toilet as a 'pre-existing' condition to the home warranty people even though it clearly broke last week. I think he was just lazy. When you talk to the home warranty people ask for a different company.

The name is very ironic. I had to hound them for weeks to get an appointment through American Home Shield. Then they no-showed, and didn't show the courtesy to even call. Very disappointing. I would recommend another plumber. Anyone else but these guys.

Will never recommend this company. My home warranty provided a Contractor from this company to fix somethings in my home. The contractor came in, lied that he will call his supervisor to verify coverage. When asked why he needed to verify, he became angry and threatening to me and my kids. What a lie!!! coverage is verified prior to coming. He went to his truck and never came back. High priority sent out by my warranty company. Hot water tank broken and leaking water. Stated he would have to update some items as they were out of code. I spoke with the county Development Department concerning the codes Per the county not a single item was out of code. High priority wanted to charge $575 to replace $50 worth of parts. They are using the warranty companies to get rich and the warranty companies are allowing it.

Guy came out twice, had me call an air guy only to have him called back out again. And then gave me the run around about the follow up for my service. Not very professional. I would recommend, if you're not finding them through your home insurance- to go with other higher rated companies on here. I really dreaded the lack of expertise I got with the company and the run around I got. Being honest and upfront is of upmost importance.

Assigned by HSA Warranty. They were all very nice but they came out 5 times and were unable to repair my water heater and then gave me a high quote of the cost of the "free" warranty replacement (to get up to code etc). Had a different company do the upgrades for much cheaper and had HSA do the replacement which went fine.

The only good thing I can say about this company is that the lady on the phone is sweet and seems understanding and willing to help. Of course, that's her job...but she doesn't give attitude. With that having been said, I can't say if she even gives her superior(s) my messages or badmouths me if she does. I just know that they are not the promptest company on earth.
