Doesn't Seem To Work Well With Mac Seems like a decent product, but despite setting up the wireless connection multiple times, I'm still having trouble getting it to print over the WiFi. Just seems ridiculous for this to be a problem in this day and age.

Brother Printer So far, we have had. Very black line down the left side and today the whole page was grey instead of white. Very unhappy since we have another like it but one sided onlt and that still works great.

Brother installer fails on latest macOS The Brother installer (MonoLaserPRT17_UW_104.dmg) fails on macOS 10.13.4 (i.e. the latest version as of 2018-04-14). You can print using the default macOS driver, but wireless printing doesn't work because you can't configure it. Forget about AirPrint and Google Cloud Print as well.

Try the Wireless Setup Wizard in the printer's menu You can connect the printer to an existing wireless network using the printer itself. Press the printer's buttons and find WLAN, then Wireless Setup Wizard. The wizard will search for network names (SSIDs), lets you choose one, and then lets you enter a passkey for your LAN using the up/down buttons. Difficult Preparation Fast and clean, but the experience was horrible when I tried to connect it to WIFI. Magically I couldn't find the username of my WIFI in the small screen of the printer, so I had to manually input username and password however, it didn't work at all! If you had the same issue as I did, I recommend everyone try the WPS function of your router, that worked for me.
Low quality black and white printing only, no copy, no sheet feed or scan. Plastic parts, not quality manufacture. If it weren't for the fact that I have a 2nd printer, I would have returned this. The only thing good about it is that it has a paper tray that holds about 1/2 ream of paper. The quality of the print is not very good, it does not do anything but print black and white (and not great quality), no sheet feed. This is the first and only Brother printer I've been disappointed with in 10+ years By the 5th week, this printer was nothing but trouble. Power button doesn't work, falls off wifi, prints come out a bit crooked, etc. This is the first and only Brother printer I've been disappointed with in 10+ years.

Wireless This printer was not listed on the installation disk. USB cable is not included. one hour with support to get it installed, then I find out that it will not work wireless as long as it is plugged in to the computer.So if you want to print wireless you have to disconnect the USB cable. It should say that in the add! Not Happy
