Wifi connection a problem Do not count on this printer automatically connecting to you wifi network. Between my wife and I, our children, grandchildren, workers, guests, and others, we have had many many wifi devices of all kinds, shapes, operating systems, and makes seamlessly connect to our wifi system over the years. Installation was hard. Partially my fault, partially theirs. Both of us need to do better. Ok, this is the third time I've written this review, but it took me two days to get this to work. To be fair it was partially my fault. I had recently set up access control on my router to block some of the devices in the house and had it set to auto-block any new devices. Mea culpa. One Star Never worked from Day 1. I had to buy a cord. Doesn't even work with the cord. SO FRUSTRATING.
wireless impossible horrible noise I wanted one less cable but it's impossible to set up the wireless and the so called support is just endless clicking with no solutions. Finally got a cord and hooked it up and it makes a terrible noise. Tried everything. Returning it.

This printer work for a short while, but then doesn't anymore. I got this printer to work for a while wirelessly, then it would not connect. Then I installed it with a USB cable. It won't print. When I attempt to print, it says error. I should have taken some of the reviewers comments to heart, but I didn't. And now I am not given the option to return it?

Very poor mode selection. This is a very poor printer. The control for selecting the properties does not work well. I returned the printer for a refund, the refund was approved, and I have not yet ( after more than a month) received a credit on my credit card.
I'm going to try and return this. I'm going to try and return this. I've had it for about a month and I have to literally reinstall the driver EVERY SINGLE time I have to print something. So ridiculous. I only bought this printer because of its reviews. I'm never buying a Brother again.

The most frustrating, unreliable printer I've ever used I should love this printer. After having all the multifunction, color printers go bad way before they should have, I returned to basics: a B/W laser printer. No fax,no scan. It seemed to work ok the first day.
