    another useless piece of plastic DON'T EVER CHANGE YOUR WIRELESS NETWORK AND IT LOVES TO GO INTO SLEEP MODE AND NEVER COME OUT! Worked OK for a month or two, except for going into a deep sleep which usually takes about an hour to fix and restarting your computer (usually when up to your eyeballs in a project). Got a new network in my house and wham, another useless piece of plastic. I have spent the good part of the morning on the phone without any success. Bottom line it works great until it doesn't work at all.

    Work Horse, BUT DOES NOT KEEP WIFI CONNECTION This was a replacement to the same class of printer, I had for 3 years that worked flawlessly. While this prints fine, I CANNOT get it connected to one of my laptops via wireless and have to run a wire across the room. And, on my other laptop, it keeps loosing the wifi connection, and now I cannot use the WPS to connect it and have to share that same wire across the other side of the room.     Print quality is good but the wireless connection is unstable Print quality is good but the wireless connection is unstable. I don't print every day and when I do print I have to reconnect the wireless before I can print. That is a big pain.

    Need IPv6 disabled to register Google Cloud Print. May need IPv4 address to log in to change. Initial password is initpass I didn't have a PC to use the CD with, so needed to set up using my ChromeBook. It took me a bit to figure out how to type in my network password (use up and down arrows to scroll through the alphabet). Then my Chromebook saw it as a device, but couldn't register it.     Horrible printer This printer has great reviews , so I bought it. I spent 5 hours on a telephone , over 2 days, with the Brother technicians , and in the end they blamed the ISP. So I emailed back and with them over a couple day period, and they could not find any thing wrong with the ISP they provide. I then bought the cheapest Canon printer I could find ,[ $29 ] and I set it up the first time thru, with no problems. I have been around computers and printers for 25 years, and never had a problems I had this Brother printer.

    NO SUPPORT! This is an in possible operational system support assumes that you have a degree in computer and electronics . The most FRUSTRATING piece of **** I have ever had.

    Wouldn't Connect to the Internet - Needed A-B Cable to Fix Was looking for a reasonably priced solution for quick printing. At $79, this seemed like a good option. It arrived phone, only it would not connect to the Internet. Did all the usual tricks, and repeated them several times, still no connection. Thankfully, Amazon customer service came to the rescue.     not quite junk Cannot Configure. When I first setup the printer things went smooth enough. Then one day the printer dropped off of the NW. I have not been able to get the printer online since. There are no usable diags, I guess that I can try to connect via the printer port, but I do not own a cable. If it had an enet port I would use that but it doesn't. I tried their tool to connect I tried manually entering the SSID/key (it would be nice if after a connection fail they didn't trash the entered SSID and key). OK, I bought ... read more
