One toner replacement later it doesn't work. This printer worked for a year on one cartridge. Once it was replaced the print quality decreased tremendously, grainy dark shadows print with the text on the background of every sheet. The wifi doesn't connect easily and we constantly have to reset it.
Poor Quality Out of the box the printer was printing smudges. I called Brother Support and they sent out a new toner cartridge. It did not resolve the problem. Called support again went through trouble shoot steps AGAIN and did not resolve problem. Called again and they wanted to go through trouble shooting steps again. I refused to do that as I already spent more hours on the printer than I paid for it. Piece of Crap Constantly plugging in and out, pushing "go", restarting, trouble shooting piece of crap to get it to print awful.
Piece of Crap-BUYER BEWARE!!!! Productivity Drain I have two of these. I purchased the two tiered one on March 2018. It had a lot of problems but at least I got a lot of productivity out of it before it started producing smeared unusable pages. I bought the one tiered one on October 29, 2018. Absolutely not recommended. waste of time Waste paper A waste of money. It continues to jam and does not come out accurately.

Having Issues with the Toner Leaking My toner started leaking just after I set it up. Easy setup Including printing from my iPhone However the toner is leaking and gives my printer page the look of marble. Can anyone Help?
Stray black marks all over printed output I don't want to bother with a detailed description of all the printer's features because it has one overriding flaw. When printing just about anything, a large top portion of the page has black streaks and blobs over it. Completely random. This is a fairly large and heavy item, so any sort of return shipping would be inconvenient and/or expensive. Fail.
Caution: Emits Ozone This is the worst experience with a Brother product. I have used over 5 brother printers over the last 10 years. When we started using this model and printed more than 20 pages or so, it produced a burning smell. I thought it would go away after a couple of weeks, but when it didn't and multiple clients kept asking if something was burning in the office, I had to call Brother Support.
