    Replace Toner comes on too soon You cannot use any ... Replace Toner comes on too soon You cannot use any PARTIAL toners so if you remove your toner, even at one day old, the printer will stop working and will refuse to except it's current toner. Don't buy this printer.

    Total and complete piece of garbage. Threw it away after 6 months. I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience with this unit, I felt compelled to do so. I've owned 3 Brother HL-2240D's, 5 Brother HL-2270DW's, 4 Brother HL-5470DW's, and this is my first HL-6200DW. It's job was to print ~3000 pages per month, as it was replacing a worn out 5470DW in my business. Within the first month, I started getting drum errors. Open the cover, close the cover, and the error goes away. That's it. No drum problem... I would assume a se... read more

    Worked while under warranty, then after a year the problems started I was very happy with this printer for a short period of time. I purchased this one, then purchased a color one to replace our slow but reliable HP Laserjet pro which was 8 years old but had to return it because the drivers couldn't get the colors right. But I kept using our black and white for every day printing and bought another HP that was faster.     Toner lockdown is a nasty surprise! I bought this for my home office a few months ago. Out of the box, it was great - easy to set up, straightforward to use, prints quickly and clearly. I bought the high capacity toner so I could get more life out of it. Now, at 10pm on the night before I have to go to court, the printer decided it's out of toner and STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY. Never mind that it was printing perfectly fine, and never mind that I haven't even printed two packs' worth of paper yet. It insists it's out of tone... read more

    I waited a year to write this review ... I had been unhappy with a lower-end Brother (23xx series) black-and-white monochrome laser printer; it was never "just right." So a year ago, i bought this 6200DW printer, and it has been such a reliable workhorse for me. I have 4 different printers within arm's reach of my computer --- an Epson color inkjet, a large-format Canon color inkjet able to print 13" x 19" photos, and a slower, Dell black-and-white MFC laser.     2 months after purchase Wifi on this printer stopped working ... 2 months after purchase Wifi on this printer stopped working properly and brother support could not help us despite multiple phone calls remedy this situation

    Horrible Customer Service Horrible Customer Service, Our office had a lot of the older model of this printer. We decided to upgrade to this model because Brother no longer sells the old one. We've had nothing but issues with the new model and customer service is awful. If you call in they have an extremely long process designed to frustrate you so no warranty claim is submitted. Brother printers were great in the past but this model just isn't the same.

    Stay FAR away Great at first, now, when I try to install a new toner cartridge, the "Replace Toner" message remains on the screen and the unit does not operate, I've tried EVERYTHING, spent a whole day trying to fix it. To make matters worse Brother's Customer Support is among the worst in the business by far. Stay far, far away.

    Toner Stops Instantly with No Warning, and Brother Shakes You Down for More Money or Else! Maybe the worse printer ever. The super high yield toner is supposed to last for 12,000 prints. I got nowhere close to that! Plus this thing stops instantly when it wants you to buy more toner. You can't even override it. Literally, it's like Brother shaking you down for money to get more prints. And it says it won't accept non-Brother toner, because that won't work with its pay-to-play, shakedown business model.
