What a nightmare. Started off with a very informative rep when I was applying and then it went downhill from there. My emails and phone calls during the purchase process were rarely returned, no communication, horrible customer service even when they pushed the move-in date without telling me. Home Partners utilize Pathlight Property Management and they are the absolute worst. When I walked in on move in day, the home was not ready. It was not completely painted and the carpet was badly stained and soiled. It took an additional 4 days for me to get in. Fast forward to 3 months later, my A/C unit has gone out twice, mind you I am in San Antonio. They keep sending out this bootleg company to do quit fixes and it is not working. stop nickel and diming residents with stupid fees. Conserv? Pet rent? Fully inspect a home before you let someone move in: mold, wood rot, dangerous trees. When you go in a house that has 12 air fresheners, you know something is wrong.

Signed a lease on 6/3 and paid $4040 in security deposit. Lease commencement date is 8/5. Have had everything in place for almost 2 months preparing for this move. Was informed yesterday that they are changing our move in date to 8/31 despite having a legally binding lease with commencement date for 8/5. We will be homeless as of 8/8 and my kids won’t be able to start school on 8/23. They are completely screwing me over and give not one flip. Hopefully their tune will change after my lawyer calls them tomorrow.

This is the most dishonest company out there scamming from people. They will say that you are pre-qualified, tell you to submit your application and other financial documents, pay their fee of $99, then deny your application within minutes. They refuse to talk to you except via email; and they refuse to refund the fee they charged just to deny you. Wouldn't that be what the pre-qualification stage is all about. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! SCAMMERS THEY ARE AND THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT!!!

I’m sure that HP is a worthwhile agency in a buyer’s market. However, in the current market, I really don’t see how any of us stand a chance getting a house going through them. We just lost out on a house today because they did not even get an offer for us to even sign to send on to the seller. Our realtor sent multiple messages stating that all offers were due by 2pm EST. I submitted my application and all my paperwork (all paperwork was the full document, clear and leadgeable.
