First and foremost: FIRE PATHLIGHT!! They have the most awful communication in their maintenance department (which should be renamed the "Frustration department"). They get vendors from way out of the area (they can't find a good plumber in San Antonio???) The people they have sent to do repairs at the property in which we live have been, for the most part, unreliable, untruthful, and barely competent to do the job. I almost fell for this... if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I don’t think the huge issue is home partners. But path light definitely has some issues. And if home partners defends that relationship by continually allowing these MANY issues in the reviews to happen. I’m just thankful that I didn’t waste my money!
I wish I read the reviews before leasing with this company. Absolutely the WORST leasing company I've ever come across. From the very beginning of move in there was issues. On move in day the property was NOT move in ready. There was a broken window, broken lights, dishwasher did not function properly. I am very understanding and thought things happen; let's move on. Please read this before you do this lease with option to purchase program!! Here’s the scam which is such an unfair business practice! There was a huge hailstorm recently. Several contractors confirmed hail damage to the roof and trim around the windows (there is no separate trim so entire window units have to be replaced). Home Partners says this is not real damage. Home Partners/Pathlight get 0 for five stars from me, but five for five stinkers. 💩💩💩💩💩 They did not repair items as promised before move-in, then I was back charged for those same items that were never corrected after move out.

I'm a Realtor in South Florida, for 17 years, and had attempted a couple of times to work with Home Partners. I recently have been working with a client that I thought would be a good fit, and he was indeed approved. As a very hands on Realtor, I called to try to find out the process and ask questions.
