Salesperson did not know his merchandise. Tried to show me a similar rug with the one I showed him from the website ..... showed me one, not even close. I wanted to find something similar from the same brand to compare colors and quality ..... basically told me to order it and return if I don't like (order will take 6-8 weeks). He had such a bad attitude, I would never treat a customer like he did.

We purchased worth $100K of house furnitures and beds from Home World. The manager recommended and chose himself what are the top of the line furnitures (beds, sofas, tables, lamps, dining table & chairs, etc). They have poor quality of furnitures. We purchased brand new sets of chairs, it broke due to manufacturing defects in less than 6 months. They replaced under 1 year warranty. We purchased 4 king size beds. We ordered our furnitures April 12,2022. We had Greg and helped us with the process and all the orders we got. He informed us that it will arrive in 2 months or less. No updates was given after we paid the downpayment. June 10 came and i called Homeworld to follow up. The guy i spoke to said that Greg is not working on that day and he will help me. Terrible shopping experience. I needed a bed frame by a certain date. I confirmed few times with the sales lady about the delivery date before I purchased. She told me they will contact me about the time the day before the pick up date but they never, so I called the sale lady and checked the status. She said she didn't know anything and had someone to call me but didn't receive any call. I drove all the way to shop the next day to check with her. Beautiful furniture. Horrible salesman They did not acknowledge us what so ever, we passed through 5 salesman and no one cared to ask what we were looking for. They acknowledged everyone except us.

We want to purchase a buffet and table. We have made purchases at HomeWorld in the past. We walked through the entire Honolulu store and also Ashley. Not one salesperson approached us to offer help. There were a few people walking around with clipboards, salespeople? Very disappointing experience in each store.

I custom ordered a sofabed in October 17, 2020. Here is is May 26, 2021 and I still have not received my order. The "Sales Lead" tells me maybe it'll be here mid-June. If I had known it would take 9 months I might have made a different choice. This is the 2nd time we've had trouble with delayed delivery from HomeWorld. It really is too bad they own most of the furniture stores on the island. The quality of the furniture is good, but the lead time and follow-up service leaves much to be desired.

Inventory is really bad. Sales people promise that furniture will come in, all to make a sale, than it doesn't and this goes on and on for months.
