I bought a car from Honda of Indian Trail May 28, 2022. To this day, August 1st 2022, I still have not received my permanent tags and title!! The workers there don’t respond to emails or return calls/voicemails. Not only that, but you’ll end up paying over $1,000 what the car is listed for, even when paying cash. You’ll come to an “agreement” with a sales manager then later have to sign documents with different SET fees far less then what they just tried to convince you to pay. I purchased my car last year and the experience was awful. I was only given one key and it was broken. The windshield had a chip in it and I was assured by my salesperson and the sales manager that they did something to the chip to keep it from spreading and cracking. I asked if it would be a problem in the future and was told it wouldn’t be. Now the place has cracked and is spreading. As a veteran who joined as the tours came down on 9-11, I would suggest my fellow battle buddies who served or are serving be very careful. When I inquired about a vehicle, my phone continued to ring and I receive many messages. I was told many conflicting things. If you’re thinking of selling your vehicle, run far and fast from this dealership as you can. I had a KBB instant cash offer. They had a vendor come to my home and look at my car. Gave me a price (in writing) that we could agree on. Once we got to the dealership, it was a whole different story. They said the car was covered in hail damage (it wasn’t) and they cut the price down by 3k. Horrible service department. Staff is not friendly, rude, and demonstrates no concern or regard for customer questions. Service manager is no better and obviously the service department employees emulate his behavior. Buyer beware. Honda is not what it used to be. Was on site with an issue. I asked to speak to a manager. The “managers” were in a meeting and refused to break from the meeting to address a customer concern.
I am so happy I did not buy my car from here. Met a man named Brandon who claimed to be a manager, called me and offered me 1000 over asking price on my car. I made the 45 minute trip out there on good faith and once I got there, as expected it was just bait and hook. Luckily, I’m not an absolute imbecile. He told me they would not accept my loan from my bank and that I needed to apply at Honda. Which is false and he just wanted to make the 1000 off me from interest. i am never one to do this and I wish I could say I recommend Honda of Indian Trail but after my experience and begging somebody to help me, I’ll never step foot in this place again.. 3/31/2021 I bought a 2021 Honda Civic. 3 days after I bought the car, I noticed scratches on the trunk of my car. Glenn Grosso and Brian Bacha were aware of criminal activity by their sales manager Charles Lee Lawrence jr. Charles purchased a car in mine and his name without my consent. Glenn and Brian the general sales managers refused to take action. They gave Charles (their sales manager) another license plate after I continuously told them I did not consent to the purchase.
