Months ago, a neighbor posted a vague warning about Honest-1 Auto in Uptown. At the time, I commented on the post defending the auto-body shop and highlighting my experience as a young woman made to feel confident and secure in trusting the place to be (ironically) honest. I asked this shop for an inspection and advice when buying a used car in September. Marc LeForte, the manager, guided me through assuring me this was a car that would last me a really long time, referencing his daughters and that the advice he imparts on them in the car world would be the same type of knowledge he would share with me. I keep coming back with more work. All of the work has been done well. No returns for any issues. I have to say I am happy with the customer service, I don't ever feel pressured for more work to be ordered, and the prices are competitive for an urban garage. I have now returned 4 times I think to have more work done on my old vehicle....no issues. I will continue to bring my vehicle in and feel comfortable with the recommendations. Honest Auto my ass! I have had them work on my car 3 times. Each time I get it back, something fishy happens and I have to call them again. They are conveniently located, but that is not a good reason to use them. Save some money and hassle by going somewhere else!

Do these "star ratings" register to fractions of "one star"? When you do repairs that aren't warranted and furthermore like a bad face lift it is botched not to mention you don't own up to your mistakes? I'll let you make the decision. Would not recommend nor will I ever go back!!!

This place lives up to its name! I called in with a question about a "maintenance required" sign on my dashboard and they told me to bring it in that day and they would have someone look at it. Once I was there, they were kind, professional, and informative about the issue and actually gave me insights on how to deal with future problems myself. It was such a lovely encounter and I'm looking forward to using their services in the future.

Outstanding, by far exceeded my expectations. I just got my vehicle towed to the nearest shop from where I broke down and even on the way there, the tow truck man said he's been at his job for 21 years and assured me this was one of the best places to bring a vehicle to. I didn't even have time to call ahead before being towed there and they still got me in for a diagnosis and my problems fixed the same day. I felt it absolutely necessary to write a review to WARN folks NOT to do business here! My car had to be serviced 4 times in one month! Every week I'd have to take it back in for another problem that wasn't there before it was serviced!!!! They were NOT cooperative! My company stopped servicing their vans there too for similar reasons! They misdiagnosed my car problems, charging me for parts and labor that was not necessary only to have to bring me back in for another 500.00 of work!!!!
