My girlfriend brought in her car to Honest One on 2217 Lyndale Ave S. who has always been helpful in the past and if I can post pictures here they ruined the back seat leather by leaving a tool and opening the 60/40 split seats. It would had been better if they left a lit cigarette in the car. Also, Mark offered to clean it but that's not the issue. They caused roughly about 1000 dollars in damage to her back seat. Tried charging me $600 for a tune-up. Called multiple mechanics and every single on of them only charged me half!! Andrew was a dick when I asked why was it so much. First experience was terrible and I hope you guys never go here unless you know one of the mechanics personally. THEY WILL GET OVER ON YOU.

If there was a "0" that's the rating I would give Honest 1. After being a customer for 6+ years, I took my car into the Uptown shop for new tires. When I picked it up, my back seat was filled with grease and the leather was destroyed. The greasy tire jack or another tool was placed on thee seat and the 60/40 split was closed down on top of it. I've been bringing my vehicles to Honest-1 in Uptown for about 6 years. I love that I can drop off my car and walk to a coffee shop, nail salon, or a clothing store while I wait for my car to be serviced. They are always friendly and have never once tried to push extra services on me. They provide exceptional service and always send coupons.

I live right in uptown and was nervous about finding a new place to fix my car. This place is small but a good place. The people here seems to be honest and very nice. My car was way overdue for a check up and they did that plus were honest about doing the work. To bad I don't live in Uptown anymore or I would return to get service from them.

They neglected to do a thorough check so I was left with more problems than when I brought it in! I brought my car in with the transmission light on and my car having trouble switching gears. They were able to get me in right away and thought they found the problem, but when they said it was good to go, I paid, picked it up, drove away and there was no change in my car, the same thing was happening. Fantastic auto shop! I can't even put into words how impressed I've always been with honest auto care. Today I dropped my Jeep for a freeon boost and ironically the lock cylinder went out, when I was about to leave. They got it back in got it fixed up in no time at all. Gave me a curtesy ride back home and back to the shop after. Their prices are always lower than the competitors. Their customer service is by far the best I've even seen. I've been to honest-1 uptown twice now and had excellent service both times. The first time because my check engine light was on. They fixed it in five min and charged me nothing. I usually hate taking my car in, so I thought this experience was too good to be true. The second time was for a routine oil change. They helped me immediately and got it done in 30 min. It says a lot for me to write a review on an auto shop - definitely will be back!
