Best chicken in the DMV! Problem is, people are starting to find out, and this place can get really crowded when trying to place a takeout order or sit down. Mac and cheese is not very good, so you can skip that. Best sides are probably the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. Rolls are also great, when fresh.

Yes they have military discount. So originally I was pissed because I wanted a bucket and I didn't want 4 legs I would have rather all thighs and the one guy was saying to exchange it I would have to pay 5 bucks a thigh to exchange the legs. I kept it the same and just got the damn legs and thighs . Sides are trash but!!! The chicken is really good and the sauces are to and the breads delicious. I got the coleslaw yuk. I've been eating Honeymoon Chicken since 2022 and used to feel like the food was just ok. I think that was due to the fact that I would only get it delivered and the way that the food was packaged would make it a little soggy upon arrival. Worth the hype!! To a trip to DC for this from VA. It was worth it and it took it to go and it was still nice and crispy. They were super friendly and the place was very nice gave me old school dinner vibes! Definitely best fried chicken a had in a long time!!!

Food was very good! The table ordered 3 pieces of chicken, mac and cheese, rolls, a caesar wrap, and a mango blueberry lemonade. Everything was soo good and the chicken wasn't too greasy. The service was pretty basic if you're at a table, you order on your phone and the food is brought over. The place has a diner vibe, it's pretty small inside. I finally made it here! After seeing so many instagram reels from here I'd been dying to try this place. the service was excellent! We sat at the bar and we ordered on our phones thru toast tab. We were served quickly and as we ordered it. The details were taken care of. The chicken was juicy and crispy and well seasoned. The variety of sauces were a lovely accompaniment. Wanted to go here for quite some time to try the chicken. Finally made it and while it was good, it wasn't quite worth the anticipation/wait. The chicken just felt like it was lacking something in the seasoning department. Excellent presentation! I'm a big sauce guy.
