Saying goodbye to our first fur baby was one of the hardest things we have had to do. The team at Horse Heaven was wonderful. We called ahead so they knew we would be on our way. They took us back to a private room that looks exactly like a living room, and we were able to snuggle our puppy pain free for the first time in years. They even had Nextflix on the television so we watched one last show with our boy and snuggled him in between us. We were so grateful for this time. I'll keep this short and sweet. Very friendly assistant Cherrise, and Dr. Ericksson was great! My puppy was treated very well and we were in and out! I have no problem recommending this urgent care clinic!!

I brought my dog in because she has been limping and was not acting like herself. Dr. Erickson was absolutely wonderful. She spent a lot of time with us explaining what the issue could be and coming up with a treatment plan. Her calm presence seemed to rub off on my dog, who stayed calm our whole time there. Used to love this place, but prices are outrageous. They have very compassionate doctors and staff. We used them as our regular vet, and made appointment for a nail trim. Was quoted $50 total. Went in, and that was just for the tech appointment- it was $35 additional for nails. $85 for a simple nail trim! Crazy. Going to have to switch vets.

Let me start this review off with the fact that I have taken many of my pets to horse heaven hills vet clinic for many years. they helped me in many different situations UNTIL my latest event. I had to have my 16 year old dog put down recently and I brought him to them, as they have performed the same service for me in the past with another dog which went very smoothly, and I paid the $450 to have him put to rest and be cremated and RETURNED to me once that was done. The worst place in Tricities. My dog had stitches done in Vancouver at his regular Vet. A stitch came out and I took him to this place. They wanted to remove stitches and clean it out because they claimed it was infected. The cost was gonna be 1200. He literally only needed 1-2 stitches. I had no choice after checking around. Money hungry business, they do not care about the animals. They lie on records and if they know you can spend the money they love to rack up your bill and make up ailments. They are ridiculous and after going to a new vet we realized that HHH didn't do what they said they did in suggesting the right path for our pups stomach issues, (or the correct allergy testing) instead they swindled us out of almost $10k within 6 months, our new vet fixed the problem within a couple visits. No only are they being investigated for shady business practices but they just lied on my pets notes and refused to make it right. Their wording was aggressive when he was actually running away from them. So sad this will stay with my dog for the rest of his life. I only found out because I was making a claim for behavioral therapy for my dog so he would not be scared of the vet and I'm tired if their remedy to drug him before visits. Now I'm not covered for this because of their lie.

We used to be huge fans of HHH, when they were in their old location, they were friendly, understanding, and appeared to really care. Once they moved to their new location they became more about the $$$ and less about the animals. We will never go back, an average visit is $7-800, I love my dog like he's my kid but I'm not that well off.
