I recently went here for the first time ever. When my primary vet would not let me be with my cat for the euthanasia, Huffard allowed it and for that I am so grateful. They placed an IV with an extension line to maintain some distance while still allowing me to be there holding my cat. Such a good idea, and so caring. They were also very organized and kind. This vet is amazing. I've been going here for a couple years so this review is way overdue. The staff is friendly and professional and they take such good care of my 2 kitties. The space is clean and well maintained. Their response to COVID has been excellent and very well organized too. During my last visit in June, a tech brought my cat to and from my car, the vet called me with updates, and then the front desk called me for payment. We have taken our dog to Huffard's since we got her 9 years ago. A week after bringing her home from a "puppy mill" we later found out, she got Parvo, not quite 2 pounds. An angel took care of our puppy for almost 2 weeks, (Dr. Plitt), and she is a healthy, happy dog today. We get monthly allergy shots and through this Pandemic Huffard's has worked out an extremely efficient and caring way of still caring for their "patients". I just wanted to let you know that you are doing a tremendous job...

I can't recommend Huffards enough! Ive been coming here since I was a child and continue to bring my cavalier king charles Jax to see Dr. Mccafferty and Julie for grooming. I will never take my dogs anywhere else (took my now deceased dog to Petsmart once for grooming-what a mistake!-never again!!! Dr Plitt was the one that had to put him down and was so very compassionate during this horrible time) Dr McCafferty and the staff there truly care about the well being of Jax. Excellent service. They always follow up to check. Have seen several veterinarians in the practice and all are knowledgeable and very good with our dog. Front desk staff is always professional and friendly.

I've recently (past 3-4 months) transferred my three dogs to this vet. They're close to my home, they don't gouge their prices and not only have I gotten the same vet for my multiple visits (without even asking for the same doctor) but each time my babies were taken very good care of, and were brought back to me with smiling faces! We have taken our pets here for as long as we have had pets (even when I was a teenager still living at home). I'll be honest, we've strayed a few times to see what else is out there. We Always came back and are here to stay now. I never feel like I'm being pressured to do more than what is necessary. Yes, they may not be the cheapest around. Best vets in northern AA county. From the front desk staff, to the groomers, to the vet techs to the doctors...everyone is kind, compassionate, friendly and just super nice. We've been clients for two decades, through multiple pets. They have been there for us through good times and through many challenges. In particular, Dr. V. Jones and Dr. H.
