Last week I brought my puppy in for his first visit and I was BLOWN away at the customer service here!! I have never been here before, but the moment I walked through the door, the receptionists knew my name and my dog's name! They were all very sweet and accommodating. I would highly recommend Huffard to any family. When choosing a veterinarian, there are many choices, but what helped us narrow down the care for our pups was the atmosphere at Huffard. From the time you walk into the reception area, until the moment you leave, the experience is stress-free and comforting. We went to Huffard in a pinch when we needed to get our dog brought up to date on his vaccines before we could board him. They were very accommodating to get us in for an appointment and got us the vaccines we needed. A few weeks later, after we returned from vacation, we took our dog back to get his physical and update another vaccine that was about to go out of date. I love Huffard. The staff is very friendly and the Vet's have been great. I love that they have hours every day so I don't have to take off work just to get my dogs in to see the vet. They call to check up after vaccines. The only issue I have is the exam cost is kinda pricey. I can't recall if the exam cost is discounted when you get vaccines but other vet offices discount the exam. More than half the bill goes to the 5 minutes I've spent in the office. I took my Yorkie here for mainly a dental exam. When I walk in I was greeted by two ladies very welcoming, Mary helped me get checked in. I liked their jacket uniform they were nice. I came super early so I was seated in the waiting area which is nice and open and dog friendly. The clients/patients (humans/ fur babies) that came in were very friendly too. The staff is phenomenal! I've recently lost my dog and the entire staff was compassionate. I sincerely appreciate their thoughts during my time of sorrow. I've brought my dog here for close to 11yrs & the staff knew her by name. I will miss everyone.
Finally..... A vet! Not a sales lady. Virginia Jones has shown me in just two encounters what a vets bed side manner should be like. On my first visit I displayed utter disgust for my previous vet. My boy is not an easy case , he's allergic to life let me tell ya,but Dr.Jones was upfront and honest, agreed with some of my previous vets treatments,although futile. Definitely one of the best vets I've ever had. I love how friendly and kind the whole staff is from receptionist to doctors. They always treat the furr babies with such gentleness and compassion.
Huffards has taken care of all my pets for over 20 years. They care for my pets as if they were their own. I wouldn't consider taking my pets anywhere else. Five stars!
