I have been using Huffard Animal Hospital for 27 years. Past and current pets have always received top notch care. Dr. Wu is sweet, caring, compassionate, and always takes time to explain everything! I couldn't imagine using any other vet clinic!

We have been taking our dog to Huffard Animal Hospital for over 4 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. They have always been friendly and helpful to us. They have also been very helpful in a number of emergencies, both getting us in touch with an after-hours emergency care facility and being very flexible to see us on short notice. We had to come in for an emergency visit earlier this week and were very impressed with the follow-up call we received the following day to make sure everything was going well with our dog.... read more

I think the staff is very friendly here and I love Dr. Gray. She's been caring for my cats since they were kittens. Great place to take your furry babies. They all seem to really care about your animals.

Absolutely love Huffard Animal Hospital. I've been taking my dog there for more than 5 years. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The doctors are so kind and caring, and answer any question I've ever had. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars!

A few months ago I was in the process of moving from Key West, FL to Naples Italy (home is near Annapolis) when my dog Riley (Maltese & Shih Tzu mix) started peeing blood. I was given the OK to travel home to MD from my FL vet but needed to have emergency surgery upon our arrival. Riley had a large bladder stone and if the stone tried to pass it could have serious repercussions. My animals have been cared for by Huffard Animal Hospital since 1964! Now I find myself with an adopted dog that, unbeknownst to us, needs monthly care! My experience with front desk as well the Drs has been the same high standard that Dr. Bill Huffard set. Recently I mentioned a concern, but didn't pursue. This vet offers Sunday hours, a clean and happy environment. My dogs don't get "wigged out" when they have to go in for their annual shots or a special "oopsy" visit now and then. Yes, any vet bill can be VERY expensive...I've used a different vet in Pasadena and paid almost 20% higher costs for the annual work, was charged again for short, follow-up visits and they wanted us to come in more often than needed for extra vet visits. Our family members love going to Huffard's . Dr. Shanna Plitt is the most "WONDERFUL & CARING" vet I have ever met. My pets love to go the vets and see Dr. Plitt. Give her a try you will not disappointed. Tell her Buster sent you!!

Had a Absolutely wonderful experience with this establishment. Called at 6:30 pm. With the concern my pup ingested staples and they got me in right away, being after 7pm when they saw her they still honored the non after hours pricing. The staff was super friendly and prices compared to other places are very reasonable, prior to this visit I stopped in to inquire about using this Facility as a vet, staff was very generous with information and even gave us a tour of the place.
