WE DEMAND RESOLUTION. WE ARE A PROVIDER AND THE FIRST COMPANY said that they would pay. Then the second company who does pre-certs said it wasn't covered. WE DEMAND RESOLUTION as we have performed the surgery at the assurance of the first company IBA telling us it was ok to go ahead and do the surgery. WE DEMAND RESOLUTION.
Business response:
BBB: We cannot comment on such a vague email (as described above). There is nothing we can verify (Member, Claim #, etc.). There is no contact information for IBA to reach out to this provider to try & help resolve the issue. If the Provider calls our Carrier Account Manager (Jocelyn C*****) @ ###-###-####, ext#***, or emails her @ *******************, we will do our best to address any issues they have. Thank you. Tom G******* Vice President, TPA Administration ###-###-####, ext #*** ********************
horrible company do not trust them I am a physician and I was completely misled by the agent working for this company none of the services they said will be covered are not being covered, they are dishonest , please do not use them. I am paying unnecessary bills which I was told will be covered. please go smewhere else
I purchased this insurance a year ago after I retired. I am not 65 yet so I signed up with them through an insurance broker. I am in pretty good health so I do not go to the doctor that often. I am only on medication for my cholesterol so in order to have my prescription refilled I have to go to the doctor for a medicine check periodically. I went to the doctor in September 2018, made my $30.00 copay. At that time my doctor told me it was time for my mammogram. They told me to contact my insurance company, to see if they wou... read more
We agree. We are a provider of service. We feel this company is fraud. We have tried for months now to be reimbursed. When calling customer service, which is out sourced, they are unable to assist us or answer any questions. We have tried calling corporate and cannot reach a person. We do not recommend anyone purchasing any insurance from this company, as your claims will not be paid.

This company is horrible and puts deadweight on our insurance aged receivables. We are unable to get benefits verified in a timely fashion, whether it's by phone, fax, or the online portal. This is the the most inconsiderate insurance company to the providers as well as the patients. Would never recommend.
I work at a doctor's office, and submitted a claim back in July of 2018. When I first called IBA, they first told me the check was generated and but the payment hasn't been passed, and to give it 7-10 business days. I have since then gotten on the phone with them multiple times, they have been telling me the same thing, which the payment is not being released, and cannot tell me why. This is terrible service. It is now February of 2019, and it is against ** state law to be processing a claim over 30 days, which is now almost ... read more

*** *: We are sorry for your issue with getting payment rendered. We don't have any specific information regarding you claim in question. Please reach out to Charlotte Henry (Senior Account Manager) @ ###-###-####, ext #*** or at *****************& we'll look to get your matter resolved. Again, please accept our apology for your frustration.
This company is the worst. I work in a provider office and cringe at the thought of having to deal with them. First, let’s start with they outsource their claims processing out of the USA. The claims mailing address printed on a policy holders card is not the correct address. When you call to verify the reps who, when you get through the 20+ callers ahead of you , are not in the USA. They give a different “PO Box” to send the claims to. Second, they do not provide an “EOB” explanation of benefits in a timely manner. Which In... read more

We are sorry that ********* ****** as a provider has experienced an issue with members who hold either "Limited Medical" or "Short-Term Medical" policies. We'd like to point out that International Benefit Administrators (IBA) is just the Third Party Administrator (TPA) for this non-ACA compliant business. YES, there are pre-existing condition clauses with all of these policies. That is why they are much less than ACA/OBAMACARE policies. We do not have any information to investigate specific claim(s) on behalf of Ms. ******. ... read more
I filed a claim in August. Medical Records were requested. These were sent on 9/26/18. The claim to date is still pending payment. I have spoken to several agents, on 11/14/18 "Bo" hung up on me, when I called back on 11/14/18 "Anne" asked that we allow 30-45 days. On 12/12/18 Jhie saw no such information (which is a chronic problem for this company-no agent is able to track any previous agent correspondence, especially by phone) and resubmitted the claim to the "back office" under high priority. On 1/10/19 I spoke to Kate, ... read more
Business response:
There is no question that ********* & The Pediatric Place received poor Customer Service regarding the claim that was filed with IBA and we are truly sorry for that. Yes, Desiree has been recently terminated for poor service to our customers. Since the insurance carrier coverage has a Pre-Existing Condition clause, IBA as the Third Party Administrator (TPA) is required to check for pre-existing conditions (the reason that medical records were initially requested) - this also delayed the processing of the claim. The claim in ... read more

Business response:
The insurance coverage that this member purchased was a non-ACA compliant Short-Term Medical Plan with a Pre-Existing Condition Clause. Based on the claims submitted, medical records were requested & reviewed by our Medical Examiner Team. A decision outcome was made that it was a Pre-Existing condition so the claims were denied. We have checked our records for the "certified letter" that was supposedly sent on "1/13/2019". We do not have that Appeal request in our possession. If you would like to re-submit, it can be sent to... read more
