The fact that iba has a A- is absolutely ridiculous. This so-called insurance company will fight tooth and nail to not pay anything. I’ve had them for almost 2 years and all they’ve done was collect money from me and covered nothing. They will keep stating that they have not received medical records or some other paperwork that no other insurance company will ask for. Worst insurance ever! How a kidney stone is considered a pre-existing condition is beyond me. Also, you have denied claims from the hospital visit from my kidney stone and denied the claim stating that I didn't have coverage at that time. I'm curious then why you withdrew the money and accepted payment from me for insurance coverage at that time? I cancelled the insurance AFTER IBA refused payment for my hospital visit and started sending that payment to the hospital to pay the bill. I'm also wondering if IBA has a HIPPA Com... read more

This is the worse company that you may have to process your medical claim . I had a claim since March 2019 and now we are December and they still did not pay it. I have called thousands of time spoke to supervisors and I always get the same réponses sorry we reprocess your claim . Nothing until today . And it’s only $129 . Do you self a favor read all reviews before engaging with this company. My insurance is **********

I wish I could give this company ZEROOOOOO stars!!!! The sales rep named. FRANK sold us a totally bogus “insurance” policy claiming that it covered EVERYTHING!! I asked multiple times. Was transferred to another woman who gladly processed my payment & I also asked her if the policy covered everything and she said yes. Co-pays, Er visits, urgent cares, scripts, surgeries, MRI- the whole nine! After my payment went through I asked to be transferred back to the man who sold me The plan and asked again if everything was covered.... read more

If I could go back in time I would have never selected this company. I needed insurance to cover a gap in coverage and decided short term was right for me. Fast forward to June. I had an appendicitis attack and had to have an appendectomy. I'm now stuck with a $37,000 bill, yet somehow I did not meet my deductible. I received a letter from them stating my surgery was deemed necessary so I wasn't too worried. Fast forward four months. I get another letter that said they never got my informaton from the hospital. I am a CPC/Biller for a Federally Qualified Health Center. I have four patients (1 with four claims) that I mailed IBA medical records for and they claimed they never received them. I called and spoke to a rep that stated there was no fax number to fax the records to and suggested I send them certified/ return receipt requested. When the receipts came back, there was no signature but they were stamped IBA- so there's no one to be held accountable! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! Every single claim will be denied. Even standard doctor's appointments are rejected (from providers on their list of approved providers) as A045 Charge exceeds fee schedule/maximum allowable or contracted. They are sooooooo slow at processing the claims (probably trying to figure out how to deny everything) that it took 6 months after I got rid of them to receive the first of a year's worth of medical bills. My brother has your short term insurance and he was in an accident 7/13/19. I keep getting the runaround .I have provided you with all the documentation yet you are trying to say that his condition is pre existing. HE WAS HIT BY A CAR !!! THAT IS NOT PRE EXISTING.

This is by far one of the worst insurance companies I've ever dealt with! I understand the policy and that they require medical records to review for pre-existing conditions. What I don't understand is why a provider has to call several times on one claim, even after medical records are received. Once provider send the records, IBA still closes the claim pending member information. WE WON'T BE ACCEPTING THIS INSURANCE ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THE RIDICULOUS DELAYS!
