As a provider waiting on payment for claims submitted repeatedly with records requested, that apparently disappear after electronically submitting them to IBA TPA, this company does not have their clients best interests at heart. They stall and stall and send letters to the providers requesting repeatedly for the records - they will NOT accept a fax - either mail or upload - however when called cannot find the uploads, which to me is a HIPAA violation, where are they going and who is getting them? For me as the consumer this insurance company has been the worst experience I have ever had. They will pay your claims in a time fashion, if at all they have millions of reason why they can not. I have been told that I used all my doctor visit last year by June and request they send the dates and doctor I was to have visited and I am having no luck getting this information because I know how many times I went to the doctor for all last year and I did not mean the limit. They are a rip-off.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Will not process any claims. Went to the doctor 7 months ago and the claim has been sent in multiple times on multiple different occasions through various methods - electronic, mail, certified mail. Once a claim was finally filed it was denied for preexisting conditions until more records were sent in. I would give 100 NEGATIVE stars if I could. This insurance is a total scam. I had breast cancer and almost all of the claims have been denied. Outpatient surgery DENIED. I sent a certified letter for claim review to the address on the claim form. It was returned to me, no explanation, letter never opened. I called the IBA and that address is not the correct address to send the claim review. I regret that I did not check BBB ratings before I went with this company. BUYER BEWARE

Only cause I can't give no stars. I have been paying monthly since November 2018. They have not paid for anything and my doctor lost so much faith in them that they graciously declined my next visit and recommended I look for answers. My experience is consistent with everyone else on this site. I am an attorney and represent a client who was injured and had to go the hospital. My client provided the hospital with her IBA insurance info but months later, she started getting hospital bills. My firm has spent months trying to get IBA to pay the claims and their outsourced call center kept telling us to upload information to the online portal, which we did several times without progress. I was sold this insurance by a broker who told me that it was to be used for catastrophic illnesses or emergency purposes. I was bitten by a raccoon and had a bill for $25,000.00 from the hospital. iba doesn't want to pay, allowing only $250.00 TOTAL. They are calling the rabies shots vaccinations and are using every excuse in the book to not pay anything. They are a scam.

Terrible company. I am 63 and needed some "gap" insurance until Medicare and bought this through a broker. I went in for my yearly routine lab work on 1/25/2019. IBA sent me a denial of coverage for lab work with code *** that states " Closed Pending Pre-Existing Review. Medical Records Requested. This claim will be reconsidered if requested information is received with in 60 days of this notice".
