The best way to avoid the tax man with crypto… iTrustcapital has provided me with excellent and fast service since I opened my crypto Roth IRA. I have wired two separate deposits into my account and funds were available to trade on the same day in one instance and by the next day on the other deposit. In less than 3 weeks I am up $2500 In less than 3 weeks I am up $2500. So glad iTrustCapital offers a Roth IRA. Getting in early and knowing it can only go up from here. I have been in cryptos for awhile, sure wish iTrustCapital was around when I started. The upside would have been astronomical. If you are on the fence about crypto investing. Great alternative retirement option to… Great alternative retirement option to a retirement plan. Along with BTC and ETH they have a good selection of cryptos, and the great customer service is a plus. For example I was recently charged twice for my monthly fee sent an email that was answered within two days with the funds returned. I’d highly recommend switching over to this IRA if your on the fence about switching over.

There should be an option to transfer… There should be an option to transfer bitcoin or an alt coin into the IRA account. Also, if I am HODLing, $30.00 dollars per month is too much. I have holdings in Celsius that give me a percent per month. Grated, you are not a lending company, but maybe an idea to improve your customer retention.

Hi Kolleen, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the IRS only permits IRAs to be funded with USD. Hopefully, with more adoption of cryptocurrency, this will change in the future. The $29.95 monthly account fee covers all necessary reporting, maintenance, and, more importantly, institutional custody with Coinbase Custody and Curv. Funding acct is a hassle; $1k min funding on ROTH Adding funds to my Crypto ROTH account is a hassle and takes a 2-3 days. You have to fill out a doc to request to transfer funds, then once you go through the DocuSign process you can only snail-mail a check or pay for wire transfer. Also, ROTH min funding limit is $1k.
