Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

I have been using JAM since the mid 80's and cannot overstate how plesant and professional Tom and his staff conduct their business. After many unhappy experiences with dealership service departments JAM was a truly different organization. Through the years they have provided excellent advice and service for an honest price and most importantly, I have never had to make a return visit for a repair not done correctly the first time. Excellent service on "older" Pathfinder. With JAM, it should be good for another 200,000 miles.

Tommy and crew at JAM really took care of us. My van's transmission required overhaul, I had purchased extended warranty years ago, but no assurance that repairs were covered. They pointed me to a transmission expert they trusted. The owner communicated with the warranty provider and provided all the needed info. I got max coverage and my van is back on the road. You have a customer for life. Thanks VERY much guys!!
