Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

It has only been a week since I had the work done so, I will reserve one star until a moth or two goes by. But all in all, I like the company. They were professional, honest as far as I can tell, and best of all the work I had done actually fixed the problems I wanted fixed. This is rare in the arena of Mechanics. These guys/gals are no nonsense. There are cheaper places to have an oil change, but I have been happy with their quality of service. Keep up the good work!

Great repair shop.......always receive a straight-forward diagnosis of any problem and quality repairs or maintenance actions. Shop is also very friendly, clean, and trustworthy.

Honest auto repair at a decent price. Been bringing my cars to Japanese Auto over 25 years (since the shop was at N Oceana) and never had a problem. Good to have a repair shop I can trust.
