Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

Service is started on time and in a timely manner. I travel an hour just to go these guys. My car hasn't seen or been touched by another garage. They do excellent business!

The people were friendly and the facility was clean. Made an appointment prior and they helped me immediately. But it seems like they couldn't give me a straight answer to the issue on my car but told me to monitor the starter when it was I who came in and told them I was either having starter or alternator issue. They couldn't tell me if either my starter or alternator was still good or not and if they were even the cause of the issue. They did say something about my car's voltage being low but couldn't tell me whats the ca... read more

After I took my Lexus in for service and had such a great experience, I took my Chrysler in for a general checkup and review. AGAIN, the service was outstanding, the Tech Writer, David, laid out all the options, did not push me to do anything other than what we both agreed to do and then had the car ready and waiting for me at the time agreed upon. I wish all my issues could be solved so easily.

Most times we don't have any problems having a customers vehicle done as promised and that's as it should be, but when things don't go as planned we're at the mercy of the car and the receiving end of the customer.
