Shipping takes forever I purchased a fuel pump for my car and now it has been close to 2 weeks and still have not received it. I assumed they would be similar to Summit Racing but no so much. I will not use Jegs again because of this.
Backordered Very frustrating to be put off for 2 months. Will never recommend Jegs. Wasn't offered substitute item.
Lack of communicatio I ordered a soft top for my Jeep on 5 Oct 2020. As of 14 Oct I have received no notice of shipping. Expected delivery date, etc. I have sent 3 requests via email requesting info on the order. This is unacceptable in today's tech world. If. For instance. I had used Amazon it would have been here last week. Be aware of this company.
The know nothing about engines. This place is so ridiculous I can't imagine why people shop here. I tried buying heads for my Ford 351w engine. I had to call because the info on the site is so messed up. A "technician" tried to help. I told them my application and they tried to get me to buy a head for a 300 straight six engine. Really? Can't determine a shipping date, deleted my negative review! I ordered a suspension kit from Jegs in early September, said would ship within a week. 2 weeks later, no kit and shipping date pushed out another week. Called and told it would be an added week, so now we're at a month out and they tell me that's estimated. I call again and now it's pushed out another 2 weeks. Slow to dispatch, poor communication. Despite having purchased several expensive items from JEGS over the last 6 months, I am still experiencing slow delivery without notification nor reply to inquiries (even for items marked as next day shipping). Quite frustrating and the project deadline has been pushed back by JEGS alone, several times. Tip for consumers:Strongly recommend keeping an eye out for the "item sent" Email and if it has not arrived within 2 days, call JEGS to complain. Items out of stock but available to order I ordered a set of springs and the website said it would ship in a few days and would take a few days in shipping. A month passed, I called Jegs, they said the manufacturer hadn't shipped them. I called the manufacturer and was told that they hadn't made that part since 2017. I got back in touch with jegs, told them what I knew and they directed me to another department to see about getting the parts from another source. Terrible customer service I only bought from jegs once but never again. They sent me defective parts and would not pay for shipping to send new parts
Take your money and run! Wrong description and part, pay more and listen to there stupid waiting music"jjjeeeegggggssss" and then come to find out three weeks later they haven't even shipped the right part, what a joke!
