Service was somewhat slow, although our server was pleasant. The food was incredibly disappointing. I had the tuna poke bowl which I’ve had much much much better at cactus club. Not to mention the value was incredibly poor for the food we received.

We visited for a night out with friends and had mixed feelings about our experience. The food and drinks were both very good — definitely the highlight of the evening. However, the service was extremely disappointing. While we understood it was a busy night, it became pretty clear that our table was being avoided by our server throughout the evening. Dear General Manager of Joey Sherway, While dining at an off peak hour, 4:15, our overall experience was subpar and not Joeys standards of service. While Rachael did her best, I was left feeling what has happened to this restaurant. Value was definitely not there anymore. An apple juice and a Sapporo took over 15 minutes to arrive and when the beer came it was very clear it sat at the bar too long, flat and dried out foam. As a party of 8, most of us really enjoyed our meals & we had a great server. I just miss the old Joey's. They've made some changes that were disappointing. You can't partake in Happy Hour if you eat in the dining area, the Happy Hour menu is very limited & l'm not impressed by the changes they've made to their main menu. This used to be a go to spot for me, not anymore.
Ordered blackened chicken and the chicken was cooked in used oil tasted disappointing. Ordered guacamole and no flavour whatsoever. The water glass literally had a lipstick stain on it! Will think four times before going again and wasting my time and money.
