JOEY used to be a staple for our date nights and lunch time bites while at the mall. Super disappointed with our last visit. Food was good as always, service was okay. Upon requesting a takeout box, we were given a dirty, used container. This really makes me question the cleanliness of this place. Really unfortunate, as this used to be a regular spot for us.
Good but a bad decision to take out from the happy hour a lot of items such as the steak frites.

Really disappointing service and food. Our server kept n making mistakes and didn’t even seem to care. It took at least 30min to get a glass of wine as I guess the glass were in the wash? I ordered the steak and salmon sushi, I received over cooked steak and tune sushi. The sushi is normally really good but this one tasted like it was from a grocery store. I can deal with poor food, and I did but poor service…. Thank god we had good company
The food was great and Felicity was just above and beyond, however I did indicate that the occasion was an anniversary dinner, and it wasn't even acknowledged. The front didn't even sat anything about it, so I found they could have done a better job on that.
My friend and I decided to share a salad and we chose the same meal - we selected the Farmer's market salad. However, the server forgot to bring the salad dressing and it took a while for us to get his attention to ask for the salad dressing. We chose the Baja Fish tacos iI personally was not impressed with the tacos, the 'fish' turned out to be small pieces of what i assume was fish covered heavily in batter. No bourbon, and no Canadian similar substitutions available, no olives to make my martini???, no leeches to offer me a martini alternative, food and quality was sub-par and used to be better, and saw the prices for the steak and almost choked ($85 for Ribeye / Chop Steakhouse is $65 for a comparison and NY Strip was $75 when $55 at Chop). Offering less and charging more than a higher level restaurant alternatives. Been to their restaurants couple dozen times here and in Ottawa, might be my last time unfortunately.
