Love Joeys and we are regulars however the food is often served cold because it’s sits for a long time waiting to be picked up by the server. We rarely say anything but the last time it was we sent it back only to have it replaced with more cold food. Not good enough for the price so I’m afraid we are going to go elsewhere. The food itself is excellent and the service is outstanding but we are fed up with cold food.

They closed their patio in the evening and did not inform us even though we had made a reservation for 4 people. If they had informed us we could have gone to another place of our choice but by not informing us we were forced to dine at Joey's as no place accepts last minute reservations. We spoke to Rubina the manager on duty who first said that they called us but when I showed her my phone log to prove that I did not receive any call, she then apologized but did nothing for us. Upstairs lounge is very understaffed. Took 20 mins to get water and meal took 3 hours due to lack of service.

My experience this past Friday was unfortunately disappointing from start to finish. Despite having a 9:15 reservation, we were not seated for 25 minutes. I checked in with the hostess twice. The second time, she admitted she had forgotten about us. From there, several things went wrong. Some of our food and drinks were incorrect, a dietary request on a salad was ignored, and when my brother brought it up, the server was rude. The front hostess and wait staff were wonderful! I was, however, disappointed in my dinner choice. I ordered the fish tacos and it was not what I would normally expect. It was a few tiny pieces of some kind of very crispy fish under a mountain of guac and lettuce. The fish part was very strange. Will definitely order something different next time.

First time eating at Joey Sherway. The service was okay, could have bene elevated with some more attention to details. We were never asked for refills of our drinks, besides my mom who had coffee. They knew we were celebrating a birthday of my son. Never asked for his name, though they did ask how old he was turning...which was 14. Food was good, portions small. Ive been to Joey on a number of occassions and I don’t recall the food being so bad. Our appetizers were ceviche and crab dip. The ceviche was mediocre and felt so heavy and thick. Not light and airy as a ceviche should be. The crab dip was far too salty. Our entrees were lobster spaghetti (which was returned), the peanut curry cod and shrimp ravioli. Server untrained. Placed the wrong drink and dinner orders. The meal was awful, very greasy and undercooked. The manager passed our table several times and did not acknowledge us. We had to ask the server to get the Manager to address the wrong meal orders. Overall, very poor service and food quality was not appealing.
