Get directionsWhen we arrived to eat lunch - brunch. The hostess told us that there was a 20-25 minute wait because the kitchen was overwhelmed with to-go orders. There were 4 empty tables and she refused to seat us. This was our first and last visit. The hostess was rude and couldn't care less about customers.
Third time wasn't the charm. The last time I was here it was okay but I decided to give it another chance. Ordered corned beef hash and the corned beef was terribly dry. Toast came with no butter. Waitress said they had to go get some from the back. For $13 it wasn't anything to write home about. I don't understand the no condiments on the table. The waitress was friendly but when I asked questions she kept saying "I think" it has this "I think" it has that. Overall unappealing meal.
If your looking for Poor customer service this is the place to go. Our waitress Abby was so rude. I understand people have bad days, but it's no excuse to come to work and ruin a family dinner. My family will never return to this location. Disrespect at its finest.
Great food but overpriced as usual. The staff is perfectly professional but you can tell they are struggling with staffing because the past two times I have been there the service has been really slow for pickup orders. The finest time I waited 30-40 minutes for two sandwiches but I didn't call ahead. Second time I called ahead because it was a bigger order and it still wasn't ready when we got there and we waited 15-20 minutes even though they had 30 minutes advances notice.
Paid for an order to be told they were out of the item- 10 min after paying. Requested my money back, two managers later- that happened. While I was waiting for the refund and the rest of my order I had the pleasure of watching a waiter diligently pick his teeth, take the toothpick out to observe his findings, and continue the process. The Katz's in Houston are amazing, go to those and skip this location.
Be cautious of portions. They claim to be large "New York" style, but that's not for everything. Ordered a side of onion rings for $4.99 and they was 4 onion rings in the box (really just 3 1/2 since one was a mini ring).
First time going to this location, it was going good. Took a minute for our food but it was very busy and Christmas so no worries there. We got chicken parm and southern fried chicken. they made a mistake with our chicken parm bc THEY were out of the pasta for it and made it wrong. This caused us to wait longer for it. We ended up getting it and my bf eats one of the pieces of chicken (came w 2) and when he's cutting into his second piece he offered me a bite and I noticed it looked raw so we looked at that piece further and... read more
I have been wanting to come for years and finally decided to stop by. The prices are a bit steep. I wasn't a big fan of my monte cristo. Most places I enjoy it..... but ate half and left the other half unfinished. Our waiter was pleasant up until the end where I accidentally gave her the wrong card. She seemed annoyed it didn't go through so I gave her the right one. She walked away with my card and came back with a new receipt. As if it bothered her that she had to ring me up again. $55 for two adults and one child isn't ou... read more
I hadn't eaten all day, so I was starving. I'd seen the sign on the freeway for Katz's Deli for years, and I'd always wanted to try them, so I pulled in to get a takeout order. I ordered the medium sized (they call it "Klassic") Turkey Pastrami Reuben, and a cheese potato, which is basically fried mashed potatoes with cheese. The sandwich itself comes with a small pickle and a couple of forkfuls of cole slaw. I was pretty caught off guard by the price. Those two items totaled nearly $30. I was on a work trip, so it went on... read more
