Get directionsSo it's St. Patrick's Day and all we wanted was a corned beef sandwich to enjoy during March Madness. Tried to order online but the Woodlands location did not offer that option. (All the others did!) My husband decided to drive to the restaurant and ordered to-go. He waited five minutes, some one told him to have a seat. He waited five more minutes and nobody cared to take my order. Doubt I'll be going back. I'm from NYC and love deli.
When you enter you are greeted and seated immediately. Eventually your server makes their way to your table and takes your order. Food did take a while to make it to our table, but with their extensive menu I figured that would happen. Our server did not come to our table to refill drinks or ask about refilling them, we had to get her attention. Young was her name, she is very disengaged and really doesn't care to take your order. When the food arrived it did arrive hot, however as I was eating I looked on my husbands... read more
When we arrived to eat lunch - brunch. The hostess told us that there was a 20-25 minute wait because the kitchen was overwhelmed with to-go orders. There were 4 empty tables and she refused to seat us. This was our first and last visit. The hostess was rude and couldn't care less about customers.
Third time wasn't the charm. The last time I was here it was okay but I decided to give it another chance. Ordered corned beef hash and the corned beef was terribly dry. Toast came with no butter. Waitress said they had to go get some from the back. For $13 it wasn't anything to write home about. I don't understand the no condiments on the table. The waitress was friendly but when I asked questions she kept saying "I think" it has this "I think" it has that. Overall unappealing meal.
If your looking for Poor customer service this is the place to go. Our waitress Abby was so rude. I understand people have bad days, but it's no excuse to come to work and ruin a family dinner. My family will never return to this location. Disrespect at its finest.
Great food but overpriced as usual. The staff is perfectly professional but you can tell they are struggling with staffing because the past two times I have been there the service has been really slow for pickup orders. The finest time I waited 30-40 minutes for two sandwiches but I didn't call ahead. Second time I called ahead because it was a bigger order and it still wasn't ready when we got there and we waited 15-20 minutes even though they had 30 minutes advances notice.
Paid for an order to be told they were out of the item- 10 min after paying. Requested my money back, two managers later- that happened. While I was waiting for the refund and the rest of my order I had the pleasure of watching a waiter diligently pick his teeth, take the toothpick out to observe his findings, and continue the process. The Katz's in Houston are amazing, go to those and skip this location.
Be cautious of portions. They claim to be large "New York" style, but that's not for everything. Ordered a side of onion rings for $4.99 and they was 4 onion rings in the box (really just 3 1/2 since one was a mini ring).
First time going to this location, it was going good. Took a minute for our food but it was very busy and Christmas so no worries there. We got chicken parm and southern fried chicken. they made a mistake with our chicken parm bc THEY were out of the pasta for it and made it wrong. This caused us to wait longer for it. We ended up getting it and my bf eats one of the pieces of chicken (came w 2) and when he's cutting into his second piece he offered me a bite and I noticed it looked raw so we looked at that piece further and... read more
