Short version: Sunday morning, 9AM - 1PM, 4hr inspection. Brian inspected our house. He is very professional and detail oriented. The maintain book provided for free is also a great reference for new home owners. As another yelp reviewer mentioned, Brian arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment and started exterior inspection ahead of time. Pro: 1. Key Inspection Services has its own online appointment system, which is so handy and I am surprised that many other inspection companies don't have. 2. Nice maintenance m... read more
Farren West inspected our house. He was extremely thorough during the inspection. Besides, he is friendly and writes very detailed reports. Moreover, he is responsive and always gets back to us within 1 hour. Even after the inspection, when we followed up with him on the builder response, he was still super patient and provided comprehensive explanations on the report as well as suggestions on dealing with builders.
Bryan was extremely diligent and thorough with his inspection. He also provides advice on maintaining your home and what things to look for to keep your home well maintained. I would highly recommend Bryan and his company to anyone who is looking at purchasing a new home.
Key Inspection Services was referred to us by my husband's uncle (Ray Dove, Remax), who happens to be a very well known broker in the Seattle/Bellevue area and has been in Real Estate for 37 years so...the guy knows the best of the best and Brian McDowell definitely met the standards. He was professional and friendly but more importantly, he was extremely thorough and was patient in explaining certain inspections with our house. His report, which was sent the same day, was very detailed and his accompanying photos were spot ... read more
As a real estate professional, having a great home inspector on my referral list is a top priority. I have now worked with Key Inspections - Ferran, Mark, and Brian - many times, and each time I have felt my clients have received the highest quality inspections. They are honest and thorough and welcome questions from the client, no matter how many. With 3 of them, and an online scheduling calendar, I seem to always be able to find one when needed, including weekends and evenings.
Excellent service! Farren was friendly and professional. He was thorough in his inspection and willing to explain what he was testing for, what the importance of it was, etc... He was timely and willing to answer any questions I had throughout the inspection. Thank you! Great experience.
These guys are really great! Not only did they do a thorough inspection, but are very nice and good people as well! My family just purchased a house in Washington, though they live in California, and Farren and Mark were even so accommodating as to give a summary of the results of their inspection on video so that we could send it to my family. They explained their results and offered recommendations for the items that were most pressing, and made sure we understood what needed to be done to get our new house on the track to... read more
We were referred to Key Inspection Services and we are very glad we were. Farren came out to our prospective new house in Mount Baker, Seattle and spent several hours inspecting the 1925 home from top to bottom. He was extremely friendly and informative explaining issues as he went through the house. We expected a few issues with a house this age but Farren found some glaring issues with the remodel (hot water not connected, no gas to the stove, to name a few) as well as many subtle problems with the remodel that would have ... read more
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Brian was able to inspect our (potential) new home on short notice and gave it a very thorough inspection. He encouraged questions and showed us how, to his best knowledge, to operate and shut off all of the important stuff like gas shut off valve, water heater, gas fireplace, etc. He provided us with a binder full of detailed information not only about inspections in general but about the findings from inspection of our new home. Their prices are exceptionally reasonable and thei... read more
