My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the first (and last) time while visiting family nearby. The room APPEARED clean, but it smelled awful of mildew and possibly mold. The smell hit us as soon as we walked in the door: humid, moldy mildew. Unfortunately, we were too exhausted to look elsewhere, and the 2 hotels that we usually book were sold out. No phone for two days and toilet plugged for two days. Finally at 1030 at night got upgraded to a spa room. Spa did not work. What a way to dicourage return customers.

Bed was stained, springs coming out of the bed, very humid in the room and no breakfast as advertised
Hotel advertises breakfast which was not available. Hot tub is broke-water is ice cold. We also had an unauthorized charge of $235 on top of our original room charge which was $185. No solution to this as of yet. Every excuse was “because of the hurricane” which happened 2 weeks ago-even the unauthorized charge was blamed on the hurricane. I have a gut feeling they are taking full advantage of fema people & not providing services that they advertise for. We have stayed here numerous times & cannot recommend at this time.

Bright white lights all over, cold tiny lobby with tile floors, bar area closed all weekend, hosting a very large very loud grad party in that area, gave away our suit that we had already paid for, room was run down and beat up, cold tile floors, 3 pillows on each bed, 1 towel in the bathroom, power went out several times. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here! The courtyard a half mile away is WAY WAY nicer!
