Al parecer no tienen la limpieza adecuada porque luego de irnos del hotel, las 2 personas que nos quedamos, salimos positivos al COVID-19.
Maid service almost non-existent. Due to COVID they did not have coffee or breakfast and made no attempt to provide some sort of prepackaged muffin. The coffee packet they furnished for the one cup coffee pot in the room tasted like it was made with gravel. The rooms were decorated by some one in DEEP depression. Stark and grey
Really conflicted on this review. First Gail the first night was top notch. Honestly the best I have ever encountered. Room was clean and comfortable. Now for the mediocre, the indoor pool was cold and hot tub wasn't hot. Defeats the purpose of indoor pool and hot tub. Now for the very bad, Saturday a very major incident occurred and desk staff did not know how to lock the front door to ensure the incident did not come inside. Not sure if it was just our room after seeing all the great reviews, but we got a handicap room where the shower was wheelchair friendly. It was honestly gross. It really needed to be cleaned and then some. I was so uncomfortable with it in fact that I went to Walmart soon after to get flip flops to wear in the shower. While I was there, I also purchased some candles and air freshener because holy cow. The room and connecting hallway was so musty. It smelled awful. We stayed in this hotel for 4 terrible nights while visiting family at Christmas in Kingwood. The service is terrible and unprofessional, the room we stayed in was filthy and overall the experience was very bad. Upon arriving at the hotel, the girl working the front desk had difficulty finding my reservation. After struggling and finally finding my reservation, she then could not find the reservation for my parents-in-law either. ALWAYS inspect your beds in a hotel... ALWAYS. Check in was pleasant, nice lady. Room #1 - dirty, stains on sheets, multiple long black hairs under the pillows. Sheets were clearly NOT changed after last guest. Called desk, they moved me to room 2. Room #2 - more dirty, stained sheets and night table with sticky cup ring/drips. Another room where clearly the staff did not change the sheets or even bother to wipe down the flat surfaces.
