Front desk person was not very personable. Hallway smelled of smoke. Room was not very clean. We were also given the wrong time that breakfast would be served. Overall experience was not great. Would not stay here again.

paper thin walls, heard TV next door all night. would not stay at this hotel again.
Our refrigerator didn’t work, so the food we put in it went bad. The shower had two choices. Jet or drip. If you didn’t want jet, you had to stand up against the wall to get under the water since there was no pressure. The ice machine outside our room made a horrible noise all night long but we didn’t ask to move because the other end of the hall had the elevator which dinged loudly every time it opened. When I told the front desk upon leaving, all she did was make a note. No apology. Nothing.

I know the ice machine will kick in hard from the compressor, but again, let me have someone look at it. This not how we would like our guest to feel. King mattress was near end of life - hard metal edge on mattress and dips in middle. Free breakfast was sad - there was a long hair hanging out of the ham covered container, showed worker, he removed hair then poured fresh ham on top of the old. Cabinet wit pastries, bread, muffins, etc - had 1 heel dark bread, 1 white slice 1/2 muffin. Front desk professional, advised chair broken in room they said they would assemble and bring another up - never did. This place has been much better.

When we arrived the check in was not to long. On our way to our room I noticed that the facility was in need of a lot or repair and cleaning. The lobby area looks like it has been redone recently but the remainder of the hotel was in poor repair and quite dirty. Once we where in our room my wife adjusted the air conditioner and it started blowing out a very foul smell. It smelled like something electrical had burn. The fitness facility was inadequate. The door to get in was broken. Once we were able to get in, it was disappointing. The pool was green and brown so we weren’t able to swim

Very small sign at the road and we missed it the entrance the first time going by. We did get charged by Expedia and we have been charged by La Quinta, is that normal? I know both are pending, I just needed to know.
